Skald is quite a decent support class imo, sb is average and zerker got a well deserved nerf for being overpowered.
Merc isn't any more overpowered than savage, and I'd love to get healers instead of clerics and shamans instead of friars ~~

I looked into my little crystal ball (think it's Flesh's missing testicle) and this is what i saw:

Every realm gets a class with bolt range non-purgable insta ae mezz - first group to press the button wins.

To make the game even easier they will give this ability to a stealth class because they need a bit more loving in case other classes start to think RvR can be played by them as well - cant't have ppl gettting past a milegate camped by zerg of stealthers 24/7.

Rezzers will be given double rp's for every rez so that more ppl will want to level buffbots.

Europe will continue to be fucked over because of the apparent lack of balance in the US - doesnt exist on Prydwen where I play (mids and albs about equal , hibs a few % lower) but why let that have any weight in Mythic's decision making.

Mythic will continue to market the game to unsuspecting new players who will play their first free month then a/ buy a second account in order to play a game they thought they could already play having bought 1 account
b/ quit in disgust at being ripped off cos they dont want to buy 2 accounts / cant afford 2 accounts / cant face lvling to 50 for each toon then having to for example kill 3000 snakes to lvl 1 arti.

They did say the game was supposed to be fun when they slagged off the cheaters and abusers (bit more chucking out wankers bit less talking about it wud be better) where's the fun in waiting 3 months to get a arti u must have in order to have any chance of competing, then spending god knows how long farming the money to buy the arti /a scroll from some1 in a l33t farming guild who has 20 on his cm, then spending tens of hours repetetively killing the same mobs over and over again in order to lvl it.

Ofc if u spent the time money and effort in lvling crafters u can make the money u need quite easily ...ooops wishful thinking.

If there's 5 more classes in the game that'll probably be more than the number of new players who join as a result of this expansion. Spend money on advertising or a new bunch of time-consuming-must-have-to-compete-properly-PvE-nonsense?

Main problem with DaoC is the absence of new players not new classes, new areas, new races, new PvE experiences etc. A new expansion is nothing more than flogging a nearly a nearly dead horse.

Albs do need another support class but as no-one seems to want to play the ones they already have can't honestly the point :D
