Albs conquered the CK again, thanks to all who where there.

My ickle paladin was there for a quick-fight, funny how people still try and shoot a paladin with a damn shield, just nice to get some extra heals from the heal-chant while operating rams :D

dont think no one cares. albs only can take CK when theres like 4 FG's of them, or no one defending, Mids took the CK with 1FG and about 6 Hibs Defending, can't see albs doing that, albs are only good in BG cos the number of them, zerg4tehwin albs?

CK, no BDer's, was 3Healers 1Shammy 2 SM Skald and a Warrior, i had to log my healer and get my RM to kill archers at one point,

There was about 2fg Mids defending and about 4fg Albs in the end (that is: a /who thidranki gave around 30~ Albs but that includes 17 infils/scouts/mincers who dont care about it)

Fact is: Mids did not defend properly AND Albs tried to work organized. It worked out.

Dont give me that 'When you roll Midgard you gain +50 IQ and more skill' crap please.

(and: I play Hibernia too; does that make me more or less skilled in a Thidranki keepfight?)

I logged at 3am and we still had it.

Typical of em if they did, they just cant manage to take a defended ck :(

Yay, great stuff. Thidranki is now restored to its normal state of affairs - perma Alb zerg complete with 24/7 MTK camping. Nice to see imaginative gameplay is restored to BG1.

Yeah if Mids or Hibs got the CK that wont happen will it.

Oh wait, it does.

Besides, a change of realm for Thidranki is GOOD for all, it gives you the chance to get it back and get a free level of XP if you're interested in that.

Actually, you only took the ck that night once everyone but 2 of us had logged. And there was more than a fg of you there, a couple of stealthers too. :p

Actually it doesn't, at least not as much. I've played about a dozen different characters through Thid now (some rolled just for Thid) and I've found Hibs don't camp MTK anywhere near as much as Albs do. Mids do camp ATK, have seen it happen quite a lot, but again it's not on the scale that Albs camp MTK.

Guess it's just population dynamics and the Alb zerg that always descends on the place whenever they have the CK.

But why bother taking the CK if you don't intend to defend but would rather camp portal keeps instead?

hmm sorry to make this post, but what is all the fuzz about mtk/atk camping...

i had a sb in bg3, and when albs camped mtk, i was at my best...

why: very simple, u have 10 second run to safety....
okay, my sb is in need of that, but hunters, all fighters can use it, Go combat, andthen sprint ten seconds, and u in safety...

i had no problem in a mtk camp...

jsut my humble oppinion.

Campin is rarer with Hibs cos there is always someone in the grp who reminds us how sad it is.
Funny but campin HK is VERY rare, I can run unmolested to HB 99% of the time.

I am sure many of us can post screenies of the Tk campinf from all 3 realms...so why dont you just stop the bullshit talk about how lame it is...we all do it..I hate doing it but have been in groups that will do it, so..i go with them. I have come out of ATK and seen mids and hibs camping the ATK..so...they do it...it is part of the game...i suppose soon we will all be lame for camping HB..MB..AB..what next ???....Lame for taking the CK with graeter numbers than the defenders ??..And on it goes. So many possibilites for a good whine in the BGs...
I am there to have fun..kill things (and be killed) And, if popsible, get some realm points. I am not a RP whore but they are nice to have !!.
So..stop the moaning..TK camping will go on, long after you have capped and left (and for some sad people..rerolled just for Thid).

Thing that makes me laugh the most is how thick ppl become when their TK is camped.

You can go left or right from a TK as well as down the middle, wiped 2fg albs with 1fg before simply by taking a decent group off one side, round the back and mezzing them from behind. Dont take much savvy to figure that out rather than the normal run-thru-the-middle suicide missions.

Too much time in Emain makes you thick. You can who they are due to the amount of times they cry in a BG CG "Albs at MMG!!!" followed by "mt". Priceless n00bs.

Hmm, am I sad?

I now only play the BG's, my lvl 50 is parked.

Firstly because my frame rate in the frontiers is just too bad to play properly.
Secondly I can reroll new chars, I'm not going to be arsed to run up another 50.

Don't act like that's unique, there'll always be more than a few Albs who start pointing out how dumb camping is, but we can't physically drag people away now can we?

Oh, and those 2fgs of HIBS that were camping ATK every now and then when you still had ck were actually Mids in disguise?
Got some catapult practice in, anyway......

Some people enjoy trying out different classes without levelling them all the way to 50. Sure, BG1 RvR is rather different from endgame RvR, and some classes are late bloomers, but it still gives you a feel for how different classes play. Understanding other classes than your main is a good thing - if more people played a support class, even in Thid, they might give their support classes less of a hard time instead of yelling "heal me" while their healer is being kebabbed by some assassin, or perma interupted by some caster.
