A Short one this,
Im relatively new to RvR and DaOC.
I dont care who had more numbers than who or who owned who, and I aint gonna claim that any realm is over powered or zerging or whatever.
This was the first relic raid I took part in where I can come away and say "my god that was fun!"
1. Great to see that the mass numbers of alb can be organised and controlled without whining , fighting for power or basically being tossers
. Great leadership (although I believe anyone can lead as long as it remains any ONE) full respect to nynn for trying his best to keep moral up, sharp for leading and hien for keeping the leadership uncontested
2. My god did I witness the power of hib casters, there were so few of u guys to begin with! good show of commitment to the game at the speedy re-enforcement
3. Zerging, Nerf this Nerf that stuff
A little unrelated, but hey why not kill two birds with one stone
My personal opinion is who gives a fuck if hibs decide to "zerg" mile gates, its their realm and let them defend it how they like, the same goes for zerg offensives, this is a war simulation and u get what comes whether u like it or not. There must always be a winner and a loser, but the true "games player" and not "uber get a fooking life nerd" will take loss on the chin and victory with honor.
1 thing I took from this is that hibernia is a formiddable enemy and my god did u guys defend well to say it was at 4am !
If anything this event has shown how wonderfully different each realm is and that we should as gamesplayers try and preserve it in its current form, please no more shouts for NERF, tactics defeat an enemy not individual strength
I think its perfect the way it is (but please lets give infiltrators an ice root <joke of course, I have wiseguy to do that for me
>
SUMMARY:
Great work albs, and thanks for providing the most enjoyable RVR battle I ever took part in, mainly because for once we had no infighting or bitching and we all gave it our best shot. We knew there were too few of us before we even began, but hell why not try anyway
And thanks to the hibs for showing in numbers and making the battle what it was
as far as I can tell u worked well as a team and the final push to rid of us from your relic keep really brought us to our knees
great job on defence
great fun all round and grrrrrrrr we still didnt even scratch that second door
<mumbles about thier being a next time, then goes to bed knowing the trouble im gonna be in with my GF was worth it tonight >
until tommorow my friends
