This is not a whine.. I just want to say that you are really rude.
We have been dueling for some houors at hmg now.. both albs, hibs and mids.
was really packed with people there and we had some good duels.

Suddely alb beno retake force (i guess its them), comes rushing down hill on alb side of hmg and ruins everything. they attacked everyone and brought everything into chaos.

I Think u knew that we were dueling when u saw your fellow albs among us just sitting down or dueling mids / hibs..
OH well.. the chaos is over now and more duels are taking place. :)

And to all others who were there, Thanks for some great duels.

Oh...so basically u are saying i can not go RvR in my homeland's frontier zone?

I don't respect or acknowledge duels if i don't feel like it.

oh and fyi: hibs ruined yesterdays duel at DC when they felt like retaking it... so give me 1 good reason i should not repay the favor?

If you really want to duel for a long time, why to choose Hmg?.

This is old thing btw....

It's shameful when people don't kill enemies on sight in our frontier, imho.

Since when does killing enemies mean losing pride?

First i dueled a few enemies with having full buffs (sorry Novamir :great: ), just for fun... then i helped the killing crew with killing enemies... for fun...

Kinda poetic justice i think for what happened at DC last night.

Don't think we lost any pride there.

Duels are a change from the usual zerg/pwn whine, it's nice to pit skills 1v1in front of your peers, just rp monkeys spoil it imo, that goes for all realms.

No one is obligated to respect the desire of others to duel ofc but why not make an effort to do so? Or at the very least just leave them alone if you don't agree (or are too sensitive about losing) in taking part.

How about no? How about YOU should play however you want and let others play however they want, and keep the smartass comments about losing to yourself? At least they dont make threads in the forum.

Ok, so it goes both ways right?

So, another example of tolerance, mob camping, it's ok to have 2 grps camp the same mobs, pull them but not to interfere with the other grps pull, griefing in other words. No one can own mobs but we can agree on how it's done and move on, share etc.

So it takes tolerance to make things work, not just one lot screaming FU we rvr how we like and piss on the rest of you, I don't have high expectations of the eventual outcome of most duel fests in the frontier, it is normally spoiled by people who would then whine that a fg zerged their opponent in a 1v1 under more normal circumstances.

And since this is a competitive game there are always sore losers, the kind who don't like to fight 1v1 unbuffed vs buffed opponents because they can't hack it. I also didn't make this thread, merely airing my view since I was there and have been at many other duels ;)

To be honest, people duelling in our frontier do so at their own risk - just like greys xping in the frontier. Starting a whine thread here is just poor.

Simple message: You come to our frontier, we're going to kill you.

So if you run with a FG in Odins, and get steamrolled by 4 FG's Mids, i can expect you to sit down and feel alright with it because the mids were defending their frontier, right?

Luckily every1 dont think like u do, or wed have a constant 10 fg zerg from each realm.

Yep. Happened to me before and I haven't whined about it. As far as I'm concerned, you have the right to defend your frontier by all means necessary. That 1fg could be part of a larger force heading for one of your keeps.

Nothing to do with the RPs. Everything to do with killing every invader that sets foot in our frontier.

Sure

Nice fights and all..getting free RP's when you kill someone in a duel....sure...we cant kill you cos you are duelling? Make a char on a PvP server and go duel in Lyn Barfog or something

Get out of my homeland you stinkin' invaders.

I only spare your fellow conspirators in Albion because the king decrees I may not harm a fellow countryman.

serves u right for duelling in a high traffic spot, if u wanna duel why not goto near power relic keep in snowdonia? noone EVER goes near there, I dont understand all these zerg whines, is it coz ppl want their names appearing on deathspam to as many ppl as poss?

In rvr, there's barely time to recognize duels imo, and safest to kill enemies anyway.. When your rvr group enters a milefort zone, you re tense, you /assist your MA and attack, to get the best out of any surpise time you have. You cant expect to lose that advantage just to check if there is a duelling going on, and not just enemy groups.
Even if you do, you never know what these guys will do after, or if THEY will know that you won't attack them, and kill maybe 1 part of your group.
Best solution would be to find a secluded spot for the duels.

Dueling is a VERY bad way to judge a character's rvr or even 1v1 potential too, but that's just my opinion. (except for example you

We knew they were conspiring, Sir Bors gave me a note and ordered me to the frontier. The traitors to albion were not to be harmed, but the invaders were to die.

Obviously the wine he gave to Jager to distribute worked quite well - the enemy were too disoriented to put up much resistance.

A hero there by the name of Novamir simply stood and staggered around drunkenly as we cut him down.

sigh.
its pretty lame when some people know that people r duelling and just get a fg together to kill every1 at the though of getting a few k rpts.

Did it ever occur to you that some people might regard duelling as lame? To be honest, I'm surprised that a good guild like TB has anything to do with collaborating with the enemy. Any enemy that comes into our frontier dies.

well regardless of how it ended, it was a lot more fun then the usual bump and grind. Thanks to Ekydus, drexa snew and the other albs + zzang, cutey and other mids.

the areas your side of milegates (both hib and mid) in hw are plenty big enough to duel without ever being discovered.

sitting at a mg is asking for it tbh.
