Get a a couple of bodyguarding cross guarding shield heros?

melee cant touch while u nuke away, and as soon sorcer is down u cant be interupted by albs?

(does bodyguard work for pets?(theu))


tbh once RvR starts for real again hibs gonna take over server :x

Worst RA possible from a archer perspective. now every light tank in the game will have a "SoS" run away button.. in fg vs fg it will be usefull to shorten distance to your target but in 1 on 1.. every time im gonna hit a light tank (without shield) they will charge run and run away.. This is allready to common in the game end potions plus lw2 is just silly

Mastery of Concentration *Active Grants a 100% chance of not being interrupted by any form of attack when casting a spell. The effect of the spell cast will be reduced based on the percentages listed. 600 25% 50% 75% All casting classes*

Casters getting moc and combined with the reset of quickcast and immunity thingies will make this a target almost impossible to kill for archer again...

removal of avoid pain will make us suck with the low defence we got.. i see dark times for hunters... the light is the new true sight ability .. perhaps the assissns will fear us now. and the classability volley given out to archers..

i hope they really do implement radar in the game so we can add on bigger fights cause when this comes into change there will be few targets out there a ranger/hunter/scout will be able to solo.. they will either nuke us to hell with moc or run away with sos or charge.. the classes left got big shield thingies that will block 90% of our arrows.. was looking forward to new frontiers but now it seems i should be focusing on lvling my SB instead of trying to get rr5 with the hunter..

well the idea of vanish from the beginning was so that the infil could get away after a close fight and so on.. the thought was never to make it a offensive ability used to turn fights.. ohh im about to loose this fight vanish+pa.. :touch: the new vanish is what it really should be.. a assassin can sneak up to a group during a fight take down his target and then vanish.. :clap:

Don't worry about it, a scout or hunter with TS will crit you long before you get to use your new RA:)

Oh and your nuke to interrupt them wont anymore.

And just incase you manage to get into combat. The mini will be healing the group for 1000 points in the first 30 seconds.

Some of these RAs will need perfect timing and look more suited to fg rvr... all Mythic need to do now is balance some classes :p

Oh yeah and we also have the lowest con race for an assasin and apparently we gained because it was higher qui even tho the qui hardcap is 250 and dodger has been taken out so thats even less evade.

Sigh mythic are tards

The RA system as it is now is a major imbalancing factor between the realms. Once they fixed that there might be a few more class specific fixes comming.

I like the new Truesight... doesnt work at clipping range anymore but will save my sorry ass from getting PA'd alot better.

Ignore pain gets a major nerf... but hey, who but Paladins has it anyways? ;)

MCL will be rather expensive now but the timer is shorter.

All the other realmspecific little trinkets like BoF, PR and whatnot seem to get tuned down or made alot more expensive but in return will be available to all realms. This is where I see a problem... the gap between casual PvPers and the Pro's will widen even more with this.
The odd pickup group with an unplanned mix of RA's will just suck, suck some more and after that they will horribly die.

The changes to the stealth classes were needed. Lets not forget SBs had a rather nasty nerf sometime ago on the back of the zerk LA nerf.

As someone on a thread on these forums has already pointed out, Vanish was supposed to be an escape spell, not something that allows a double PA. The SB specific RA looks like what Shadow Run should really have been all along.

Though I've never played an archer class there is something I REALLY like about the changes. Archer classes will be able to hunt down assassins more effectively. I think this is important and a very good idea: I've always hated that stealth was invisibility with impunity. Now the archer class should become a very effective seeker for these guys and will be the class of choice for sweeping ahead of attack forces. Though they did this to an extent already, this will secure their role in large scale sneak attacks where you don't want the main force discovered until the last possible moment.

I don't think Alb has been nerfed, but in terms of RAs, the 3 realms are being brought on par with realm abilities, something that has not happened since the RA system was implemented. This means the pressure is more on to balance the classes based on their PvE earned abilities.

The players that will probably complain the most will simply be those that played on a particular advantage to an extreme and possibly didn't learn their class properly.

Not that I'm any particular good :D

That Decimation Trap for wizzies looks like a scream. I can think of lots of ways that wizzies will have a damned good giggle with that. Actually, drop that on top of your pbae box when you're blasting away and you've got some very nasty damage output. Bet its a ground target thing so you'll need nimble fingers.

Finally, a player will have a *true* choice when it comes to RAs. Druids won't be forced to get Group Purge (as its no longer in the game anyway), all primary healing classes have access to a wide variety of toys, and casters have some nice things to choose from. And as Mythic state, you can get low power versions of a lot of RAs or specialise to the point where you have little else to choose from. Will be interesting to see what combinations people start going for.

I'm betting most assassins will go for lvl3 purge as fast as possible but what do I know.

Someone said about minstrels with lvl90 pet: sorry, its pet classes only. Minstrels aren't a pet class.

Dashing Defence looks absolutely ace for primary tanks.

Interesting looking at Mastery of Focus. I'd been looking for Majestic Will to see if it had been turned into anything useful. I'll reserve judgement until I see the associated cost. If its cheap for the first level or so, thats worth having as it will help for example with nearsighting or any spell which is in its low 40s but still often used in RvR, especially as its a passive always-on ability. If its got the insane cost that MW previously had, it will just be consigned to the bin for most people, as was MW.

The interesting thing about mastery of focus is that (if you can afford it), it makes split specs more viable.

Will also be very nice for a mind sorcerer (ie. like me) who has to rely on a level 30 AE root for backup - the one thing I really miss from my old 40-body spec is that the 39 root was a lot more reliable. For 2 levels of mastery of focus, I could have the same stick rate now as my old spell used to have .... Kind of appealing, given that secondary crowd control will get much more important if people have frequent purges for mez.

well Charge is already an ability that all light tanks get for free at level 40, and i would imagine light tanks would rather charge TOWARDS you than away from you, especially if they are buffed :p

Actually Sib, I think that Pally RA looks quite good. Pallies are harder to take down than most in their group anyway, so helping everyone in the group except the pally isn't as silly as it first sounds.

While the RA is active, make the heal chant the last in the twist chain instead of End and its a nice double tick.

and call of darkness is so stupid: Allows the necromancer to summon a pet with only a 3 second cast time.

when necro pet dies, the necromancer has 10% hp left, wears cloth armor and is very close to the spot where the pet died. So one hit from a decent tank, and he's dead. 3 sec won't do it imo

Well Indiana, the only way you can get infs to xp their artifacts in Avalon City is to tell them it has a milegate :D

(Gimme PBT, lvl50 Infs and mobs, nice takedown rate on mobs if you're wondering why I'm being all odd and liking assassins in groups - the buggers die so fast who cares if its leatherclad freaks in the group - us gimps that still have to get to 50 find this quite handy).


EDIT: Regarding Necros: quickcast summon pet. 2 sec summon uninteruptible and he's invulnerable again. Not as bad as it first seems :)

afaik necro don't have quickcast..unless u mean the pain working thing..but that can only be cast when u have pet up....but i don't have necro so i will check the CoC class lists to be sure

And BOF for Mids arent gonna help much against Caster groups. Also the new RA "avoidance of melee" is gonna prove very useful as a counter against melee groups. I think the determination changes along with some useful changes to casters will make Savage worse than they were pre Frontier.

And keep in mind, fights are supposed to be more keep-oriented. Not much utility in melee groups there.


yap, bodyguarded, grapple protected, mocing purging every 10min, sosing, bofing casters... i dont care about all this in fg vs fg, you may stand a chance there with a good grp, but in zergs casters will be too dangerous tbh.
