I buy these.....
Diamond seals = Longswords, 15 seals each - salvages for 100 asterite.
Sapphire seals = Breastplates, 32 seals each - salvages for 72 asterite.
Emerald seals = Lochbar axe polearms, 30 seals each - salvages for 20 asterite.

i normally buy the swords with the lowest weight... 15 dias = 100 ast.... so about the same... same with saffs... dunno if it is the best Gc wice.... but i can carry a shit load of them out of DF at 1 time 
and in that light the last 10s don't matter much
