Well, with players like Tevez and Mascherano coming in the expectations WILL be bigger, and can't say 18'th is better than last year

Completely disrupted the team though, personally they'd have been better making a fewer low key signings and maintain the cohesion they had last year.

Bringing players of that calibre into a team which doesn't match their abilities is bound to cause upset.

Shame the West Ham manager had nothing to do with the new signings and are they even owned by West Ham? I though the guy that was trying to buy then owns both players and they were just sweetners for a potential take over?

I personally feel it was a mistake, way to many managers are sacked these days and only a few actually deserve it. Newcastle are a perfect example of sacking one manager and replacing with worse or better and it happens all the time.

The only 2 managers who are talked about who culd do a better job are curbs and erikson, erikson is prolly better as he is actually a good manager whether people say so or not. Also has good international player knowledge so would bode well for a growing future for westham, while curbs aint no shit outside of uk.

west ham have had issues this season with injuries and take over talk and 2 dodgy transfers, its gonna unsettle team. pardew aint to blame tbh, can only work with the tools u got..

look at newcastle, we had a very poor start to season, and the MEDIA.. not the FANS were calling for roeder to go. its well known we got 8-9 first teamers injured but media twats just want a new front page like PARDEW SACKED! or ROEDER SACKED! they dont give a shit, they get paid per story.

teams gotta stick with their managers tbh or else it gets even worse. if alex ferguson was sacked after a similar poor start to his career at man utd.. do u think man utd would be where they are now?

most the times it all wasy down to the media and then after like today on a lot of the news come out and say why they sacked him all the fans are gob smaked and dont know why you done it.

imo he just been a bit unluck with the way some games have gone and some the players not what i would say be first choice all the time by choice
