Bloody great game, unfortunatly i've forgotten the links to a couple websites for clothing/guns, there on my home comp. And there now bringing in an act so you can't buy the weapons abroad as you could change the weapon to fire live rounds within hours or something...

Be prepared for some kick ass action but a very soar body as crouching alot aches :p also being shot in the head is not advisable... when i get back from work i'll find some and post em here. :)

Edit: the link above is the best one. :)

If I was you I would buy something like the Kalashnikov AK47 Full Stock Electric TM or H&K MP5 RAS Electric TM would be a great gun for a first gun.

Last ones I bought were a M4 and a glock 19 pistol, yeah they are really fun.

The shotgun with shell cartridges that hold 30 bbs are very good fun too in old buildings if you are playing in them.

paintball and airsoft are 2 different games, airsoft is more about using stratageys whereas paintball is often more about charging in headstrong.

depending on where you live theres a good few sites out there i use www.airsoftwarehouse.co.uk and if you live in the sw/wales theres a few sites about the area myself.

as much fun as the tm m3 shorty of mine is, i wouldnt recommend shotguns as a starter gun as there not much use over range, they really are designed for cqb. something like the TM Mp5 range is a good choice, most fire as standard at about 250fps and can for £40-£60 be upgraded to fire at 350fps which is what most sites set as a upper limit.

Any idea what gearbox version you have in the p90 and what make is it, as the TM ones have alot of problems with jamming.

Heard the same, but have to have it.

I'm not sure if it's a TM model...extended clip, improved firerate, laser sight...used one but premo condition.

great fun, a hell of alot more so than paintballing as the shots actually go in a straight line
the only problem with it is that your equipment pretty much dictates how effective you are if you go to places without limitations on the type of arms you carry but alot of the more reputable places have a limit to power/size/range of the guns you bring in aswell as allowing you to hire semi-descent gear

Super super fun :D I play at Fireball near Tamworth, great site, currently using an ICS M4 variant and a phantom AUG :) I really dont see why anyone would play paintball if they knew about airsoft, you pay more and have less fun? :p

Airsoft guns are £200+ :)

yeah but once you have that its cheap, BBs are 5000 for £7.00 and games are £15 - £30 quid.

Paintballing is alot more expensive at 24p a round. Thats steep

Paintballing is for girls and kids where you charge. Its also crap with rubbish clothing and ridiculous weapons

Airsoft is tactics and better movement with realistic weapons and decent looking clothing.

I use an M4 but last event i was on a minimi, awsome weapon had myself in a perfect position that managed to kill 14 ppl in one round and was only hit twice. Not bad going :)

Mental weapon the minimi haha I was once sat behind a guy on one guarding a building entrance just medicing him, it was so funny how he just kept continually firing and nailing anyone who came in lol.

Btw anyone go Cope Hill this year? It was mental :)

i have a question thio, wahts stopping people putting on heavy clothes (like combats) and just running through the bb's :p
As we both know thye dont hurt when you are wearing a particularly tough material like camo :)
I havent been in a long time but the one i went to (near Reading) didnt have any restrictions on clothing so me and my mates just went in wearing army issue :p
Also are there any people inspecting the weapons before you use them, because i went once and some twat had his gun modded to make it stupidly powerful so effectively had double the range of everyone else using standard and rented equipemnt

I agree with the tactics and enjoyment but if i was going to pay for it rather than organise a skirmish with mates i would liek to know how the above is addressed (as they wont feel bad about hurting a stranger compared to hurting oyur mates :p)

I personally only have every had a deagle (sold now), glock(friend broke it :<) and spring loaded beretta so i dont think iw ould have much of a chance anyway in such a event :<

at least at the site i visit, its covered in marshalls, they watch you to make sure you are taking your hits, and evrynow and then, they will shoot you themselves to make sure you take the hit (they will return you straight back into the game if you take the hit, if you dont they have words.)

as far as gun power is concerned, most places have a site limit, somewhere around 200-300 feet per second, depnding on how much close quarters is involved etc. with the place i go, BEFORE you even step foot into the "live" area EVERY SINGLE gun is checked for their respective muzzle speeds, if they show up as firing over the limit, you cant use it, that simple.
