Airplayer and ipad /ipod

Anyone use this ?

Been wondering if you can use it to stream divx etc avi's from a nas box to an ipad /ipod without the need for having a pc on.

Or are theere any alternatives that allow this

I've been looking into sending music & films in the other direction, google returns loads of hits - I remember this one - might be worth a look:

Personally, in going the other way - I wanted to stream music from my touch to my pc (entertainment system) - I installed airmusic - which does this (allows any win7/visty pc to access an iPoD's music) - but it didn't do it for me becasue control is from the pc. I then moved on to apple remote - allows the touch to remote control iTunes - so I can change the music or line up a movie while I am in the garden or upstairs

Just found this. Seems to do some of what you wish - doesn't appear to support divx.
