Difference between me and the likes of you is wot you should consider.

Me - accepts a challenge and won't give in ever unless i physically or mentally cannot do it. Hence to train forra a marathon (first challenge - ran in 3 hours 10 mins). Next challenge to win a road race (did so after altering training schedule for about 18 months - 5 mile road race in 26 mins 30 secs).

DAOC game challenge: To kill overpowered infs consistantly. Tried every possible alt with every possible stat. Took 2 sbs upto level 50 to analyze further. Eventually trained in completely unothordox methods of combat (eh no other sb fights like PKJ believe me cos it is damn hard and too extreme).

Computer building and maintenance - learnt from scratch and prob one of the best and most knowledgeable computer people in my area. I have to turn people away from my door. Even helping computer shop owners - other technicians - when they get stuck with a problem.

Webdesigning challenge. Started from scratch and thoroughly devoted myself to it around the clock with the same intensity i apply to everything else. Eventually helping other people on other forums solve their own design problems. The site i have created and put on hold has some very advanced techniques inplace. For one thing the forums are unique i should think after i stripped them down and looked at their construction and then rebuilt the coding. They have inplace a category mod now and are using a skin that has never had such a mod before. Peeps can also log in on one forum to auto log in and out of all the forums i create on the one server. The forums are resizeable as well - pretty impressive shit. Challenge accepted and overcome.

I thrive on challenge. Am in limbo now cos i don't have a goal or challenge though am considering whether a PKJ style sb can exist at level 50 but just seems so much wasted time and effort and for wot? No idea. Certainly not gonna have much to show forrit even if i was successful.

So the difference between me and youse lot is i just don't give in unless i am totally and utterly defeated.

Youse can't say i ain't done any of the above - my house is full of awards from running - my website exists and PKJ just showed you my sb skills.

Ego boosting. Could be but i should think everyone wants some recognition for a long term effort.

As for women hehe - they have always found me fascinating cos they can't tame me - another nice ego boost for me eh .

Oh one last thing - i damn good at upsetting people too on forums

Might have to look at that. Ain't worked on the site for months so could be i left some coding in that does not need to be inplace - can't remember. Then again that little staff bubble needs to settle in the right place for the expansion to work - unbelievable coding for that and not my work (the coding) - but can be made to grow out and out eventually (each bubble expanding) and could look really impressive.

Will look at it soon i expect.

Seems like alot of effort on the off chance that i might get to duel the odd alb.

On a serious note, im not a look at me im god person like urself, but when i played US servers and both my infils in the BG i did well. nothing special but I had seom good fights, and some intresting kills.

You say hiding behind, but to be fair there is a very small learning curve in this game as far as BG goes. As i have said before and will say again, if you have the SCed gear and buffs, most people with resonable lvl of common sense can play most if not all classes to good standard.

Yes there are exceptions, for example the tactics you speak of with swopping weapons mid fight, this isnt easy but can be learnt with time, and most people once again with reasonable lvl of common sense can pick up.

I managed it whilst playing my infil. Yes I may not have uber sklls, but im trying to say this game has a cap as far as how great your skills can get.

Well everyone does. The game is badly unbalanced and always has been. To make the game balanced you have to play by the rules. When i duel someone in Midland that person asks to group first to check infact whether i am buffed or not cos if i say i ain't buffed well why should they believe it? Same goes for Thid. The only semblance of balance is to have sc gear and buffs. The newcomers have to catch up cos that is to be expected but the others who have played the game long enough have the sc gear and buffs. For you to then try and kill them without the buffs is worthy for sure but really an impossible task. The difference between sc gear and buffs and no sc gear and no buffs is colossal. If you could kill the albs/hibs doing so all the time no-one would be more on your side than me but it is just not feasible. Only thing you can do is level the field and then kill your opponent. Do that first then drop your buffs if you want.

Anyways tis just a game afterall. If you like playing unbuffed etc then carry on i really can't see any problem with that.

Yeah thats the problem with BG's these days .... its the "I cant compete if I aint buffed to the tits and wearing the best gear and got a shit load of potions to help me out" attitude.
BG should be for fun. All my BG toons use drops and if I'm buffed its because someone was good enough to cast em on me while we been running around but ......
I still manage to have fun in Thid.

Dont kid yourself that investing money and equipment into a BG toon who is gonna cap at 350RP's is a form of skill.

Got far more respect for guys who dont need to/ dont want to/ dont have to do that.

believe me, its not my religion. If i had the time or money to have buff bot i would have one. I have been lvling my bb a bit...he is only lvl 8 though, i get distracted by playing sigmif or lvling hunter.

And I dont have the money to buy SCed stuff, only just started out on these servers.

Buffs - sc?

Been playing for maybe 3 years now. Started out on Prydwen Albion when there wasn't any sc or buffbots and had a fantastic time. Loved Albion and would go back there tomorrow for sure. Took a scout upto level 47 - Peaceful - and adored him. Also fought against the then uber la sb players as a gimp inf and had an immense amount of fun. The game has changed though greatly.

Sorry but if an unbuffed inf with no sc gear on met PKJ he would be traumatised. Things have changed and you have to go with the flow unless you want to die all the time?

Become an inf and you want to kill sbs all the time. Become an sb and you want to kill infs. Become either and die all the time will get really depressing in no-time for sure.

Balance then kill - then make yourself underpowered and still kill - you have then really really proved yourself.

I did not run i got clearence to heal myself but your poisen got me while i was trying to cast first heal , that was my first trip to thid that day so yu lied about killing me before that day and because of you poison you got the pally down too 9 % health but when the scout owned you he was on 27% health!

Anyways you are new to Thid and takes time to settle in.
