So then, how do you guys think Portsmouth in particular and other teams are going to deal with alot of key players going to the African Nations?
For example Portsmouth are missing Papa Bouba Diop, Sully Muntari, John Utaka and Kanu, will this make a big change or?

Arsenal will miss Toure as Senderos is not good enough imo.
Chelsea looking like it won't effect them at all, with all the players they have out.
Pompey well after watching them today, they will miss them players.
Everton will also miss Yakubu, Yobo and Pienaar.

Aye Toure is different class from Senderos.
Chelsea.... hmmm... they are good but lack some qualities... mostly because of missing players
I know :( I was dissapointed in the way they played today... I was going up there to watch... glad I didn't now.
Everton wont really miss Pienaar but Yakubu and Yobo definately, but they were good yesterday.

Without Essien Kalou Drogba Mikel Lampard and JT Chelsea still made Spurs look like shit yesterday.

Probably only behind United in terms of strength in depth IMO.

because they actually played some still okej players :D

fuck drogba anyway, he might ex-top scorer but he's been shit this season already, falling over 24/7, boring striker to watch.

Kolo is a big miss but i do not think he will miss any games vs the big 4 so hopefully Johan or Phillip can cover.

The way Ballack has stepped up to the plate since Lampard went off injured against Villa has been fantastic - won't be dislodged easily by his return.

African Nations football. I'll be glued to my TV set for that one.

NOT

(although watching Cameroon foul every 4 minutes is hugely entertaining...have any of the Cameroon team ever noticed the guy in black (he's the referee - oh never mind) - just carry on lads)

I can see an African nation winning the world cup within the next 3 world cups, such is the progress being made.

i cant wait for the African nations, I love african football, its so exciting to watch, with some of the best footballers on the planet on parade.

I cant see past ivory coast or Ghana to be honest, but im gonna have an Aryton senna on Mali. With the players they have, they look great Value at 18/1.
