My TV aerial comes into the house in the living room in the old half of the house. In the back bedroom in the new half, there's no aerial signal, so I can't get TV up there.

I use powerline ethernet all over the house and it got me thinking - can I not send an aerial signal the same way?

I know you can get hdmi over powerline, but it means buying more boxes to plug in, and from what I remember they aren't cheap.

Any ideas folks, without paying for someone to come in and wire more coax through the loft?

I have never used it but my mate who does AV installs recommends "Intelix RF-F Broadband Video Balun" which I think is the Cable version so there may be a coax version. He said they are £100 each when imported last time he got them.

Coax TV cable is only a £1 for 10m at Proper Job. just use a splitter on the aerial and drop it through the ceiling.
