Bah! I just went on a playercontrolled boat and after repeatedly asking if it went to Dun Bolg it went to the mid frontiers. Bloody french. Now I didn't make it in time with a supply of wood and siege stuff.

Back on topic though.. Only played once in grp, and didn't stay long, cause my weekend's been really busy. But, full group, was me and another from mid/pryd, 3 germans and 3 frenchies I think. All the others from different servers. Anyways, no problem with the language really.. And our playstyle really went well together...

NF feels like a big bg1 atm ^^ think the real NF will be more fun.. when (if) they get rid of the lag and when people play their "own" chars.

Hmm. My NF character 'woke up' in some town north of castle Excalibur (which isn't really a castle, is it?), while it was parked in Bledmeer Faste while it was still in Alb hands.

Now, I just assume that the server places you in the town whenever you log in in an 'unsafe' spot. However, my lifebar was down to 25%.. which was odd.. It makes me wonder if my account has been compromised.

well after some trouble i logged on late night, tried playing a VW witch was kinda boring (zerged by albs all the time) then tried NS witch was kinda fun even tho all the BB´ed losers pwned me, also tried Ranger witch was kinda boring but got quite a few rps thanks to Volley. Then i tried a Drood tri spec first day it was boring but second day i got a great group (ie no retards unlike 80% of the server :kissit: ) and i actually enjoyed keeping people alive (im tempted to roll a drood on regular server ) so far it´s been ok but could be better (n3rf Sorcs and all casters ktnxbye! )

The Germans had their towels on the sunbeds of Sauvage before any of us brits even dreamt of getting up the day Gorre went live.

The French must have been queing outside GOA HQ with bagettes and champignons for hours to get the exact time to log in.

Half of them are buff bots. The other half are asleep, taking it in shifts to keep their group awake and from LDing to keep us all off the server.

A third half are lag ghosts of albs trying to zerg and LDing similtaniously, then their ghosts remain for an hour after they die by drowning while in RL they try to reconnect.

Three people have been spamming "/effects none" and the server went mad trying to figure out what "/effets aucun" and "/aucun d'effets" meant.

The hinges on the chests are starting to give, and will crash the server soon when they give way and spam all of Aegirhamn and Gothwaite with millions of useless ROG polearm weapons with +rejuv and +stormcalling stamped on them.

Keep guards will go on strike, anyone found taking a keep will be stoned as a scab.

Cats and dogs will buy apartments together.

Yes there are other Islands considered part of Europe but mostly because they're governed by France or Spain etc.

We're however governed by... er... America as far as I can tell from the current political state.

So one day I'm sure we'll be expected to be good Americans, I however will still be British (until I retire to Spain of course, where at least I'll be able to understand what people are talking about and my kids will be able to keep some of the money they earn to live on instead of paying the latest new tax with it - Villa's built and paid for, I just need to inherit it now )

Huh? You saying Japan, Philippines,Indonesia and Singapore ain't part of Asia or that New Zealand ain't part of Oceania (for some known as Australia) just because they're islands and not on the continent itself??? Europe is a world region that contains the European continent in addition to some islands, just as Asia, Oceania, Africa and America are continents, but the world regions consists of those continents (except for Oceania where the continent has another name) and several islands. Norway isn't considered a part of the continent either, but we're a part of Europe (ie the world region) nonetheless.

Hmm. The french and germans seem to be mixing/mingling with the english speaking players. Also, the 5 second lag seems to be gone and we just had a massive raid in Emain, and no server crash!

One of the things that I noticed was that yellow PoT4 overwrites purple PoT5 now, but, I'm not sure if that's anything new.. I gotta test that. And even then it's probably not something GoA could do anything about.

Not sure tbh, the fact that I put a smilie at the end of mine is a way of showing to people from various cultures that may not "get" a particular sense of humour that the post is intended to be if not mildly humorous at least tongue in cheek. As we all now Humour does not travel well, yet smilies are universal.

The fact that you put one at the end of yours suggests the same, but the tone of the post reflects that of someone talking to an ignorant child, which unfortunately for me (since it means I'll die sooner) I am not.

I can't seem to load any char from any realm ... i get to the char selcection screen , choose lets say .. my reaver and nothing

then i went mid , went to load up my Pwndancer , and again the same thing
