Advice on claiming keeps

mm reading the friday-news-on-thrusday msg ( http://camelot-europe.goa.com/news/newsarticle.php3?id_article=742 ) this got my attention:

"Claiming keeps :

We received some reports of a quite nasty bug, although rare, when a guild tries to claim a keep. Basically, when a guild takes the control of a keep, the cost is usually 500 guild bounty points. When this bug strikes, the cost rises to 14000 guild bounty points. Beside the insanely high cost, the total of guild bounty points of the guild involved may go negative, which can bring many new problems. Of course we are working with Mythic to find a fast solution for this issue, meanwhile, ----> we advise you to be careful when claiming a keep." <-------

Be carefull when claiming a keep? eh, can any1 please tell me how? Pet the gatekeeper first? type it slowly? eh...

Btw Case are you sure you can turn the negative back into a positive? I think I might have read you can't... But then again this whole bug is really screwed up and if they can't fix it makes the whole idea of BP's pointless.

So your guild has more than 10 billion rp then? Cause as far as I've noticed for every 10rp you get about 1bp ... 1.2 BILLION bounty points~12 BILLION realmpoints .... ?

Either typo or liar! (or just an alb who we all know can't read, much less do maths )

It's all related to the same bug with keep claiming. GOA and Mythic are urgently trying to establish exactly what causes it and to find a fix for it, but in the meantime they are sadly unable to manually make adjustments to BP totals of guilds, so we're stuck with it

See if we can't get you a screeny of it... but RPs are reporting correctly, 10mill ish, but BPs are seriously wacked.

Silverhood: no it doesn't. we heard that rumor too and we made sure only one of us tried to claim it.

I know for a fact that Hurbury is bugged. Every time we claimed it, 15k gone.

And I know that The Black Circle were having problems with it when they would upgrade.

I am pretty sure that mids and hibs are aware of this bug since its the first keep they go for now.

And I hate to sound mean but I think that even if Mythic is bothered to fix it do you think those missing bp's will be returned? HEH yeah right. That'll be sometime after the personal horses and houses. Mythic is too busy working on stupid hats ( http://camelotherald.com/hats/ ) to worry about real game problems.
