I would just like to thank BT for actually sending an ADSL Installation Engineer who knew what what a PC looked like (not like the bafoons they sent before who tried plugging my USB Hub into my video recorder). In over 8 months, the whoosh test they performed has dropped to a 2db loss from 59 with no repair/update work carried out in the exchange (so they say).

So finally after a very long wait and endless telephone calls, screaming down the phone at ex-Burgerking employees who responded by saying would you like fries with your ADSL

While it will be better, don't get too happy about it

Because even if your adsl performs, the tinpot netcode in this game and the general random predict code that cs has, will mean a far less enjoyable experience than it should be

Iv'e played it on a well tweaked modem, a decent isdn ping, now im playing on cable, in all there's little difference. You only suffer if your playing on a poor isp, with a poor modem setup imho.

Btw i wish they would bring back that push latency, i shoot peeps in the chest and it head shots them? and thats in tfc ffs No recoil Thats why i called CS random luck
