I've finally managed to get my Asus 6000EV router to work and for web/irc/mail etc its excellent.
However, I do have a problem. When ever I join a Quake 3 server (be it barrysworld or any other one) After about 10 seconds I get a mass lag spike, ping jumps to 999 then after about a second, it settles again. After what seems like a random number of seconds, it does it again, perhaps 5 times in the space of 20 seconds then stops again.
Im on BTO (and no for once I dont think its them!). Anyone else had similar on the same router/isp combo?
