Am trying to make a movie in Adobe Premiere but having a problem that i am not able to set the resolution as the default editing mode is set to DV Playback and the resolution on that is fixed, when changed to Video for Windows, the quality goes really poor

Was planning on compressing with virtual dub later on.

Have tried installing lots of different codecs, i think they where supposed to appear in the list where DV Playback and Video for Windows are ? but they don't even after a reset

Don't know how i can get it to the resolution i want but decent quality :/

Thanks for any help in advance :worthy:

You can set the screen size when you 1st create the project, believe you can alter it in some options after then also, can't remember off top of my head, as didn't install premier on this build. :/

If all else doesn't work, google "rtfm" :p ^_^

You usually set the height/width Frame Size etc. from the encoder settings:

File\export\Adobe Media Encoder

Then select format and settings.

Note. Adobe Media Encoder is just the standard one you may have others loaded.

You can save the changes as a preset for follow on projects.
