Farmed Dartmoor giants for armour patterns 120 patterns not a single Alchemy drop so I wouldn't go there for them.

In old frontiers Cyraeths had a good drop rate for them so probably still do.

I leveled my necros artis from 0 to lvl 10 yesterday on purple/red giants and only got 3 lich teeth (they drop in 3s now not singles).

I went to caillaech guards in lyon and got 12 in about 45 minutes.

farmed Danonian Soldiers yesterday they seem to drop most of the Alch components. They range from Yellow to Red con at 50.

Drop rates do vary, but are generally slow. I got 72 armour patterns, 5 ancient mirrors and 5 ancient pure mercury farming giants in Dartmoor.
