About the "Elite" Guilds

I guess that's up to whoever handles recruiting and crap within LA.

There are worse things done by other people, who in the end always end up in some guild.. you don't see me going about trashing them..?

Because it's none of my business.

Won't comment on the whole thing anymore here, that belongs in the other thread.

Some guilds get some bad press on the BW forums. BD, LA & Vengance to name the ones i have seen. Now I currently have no opinion on those guilds other than if they enjoy the way they play & as long as they do not spoil other people in Hibernia's enjoyment of the game, then whats the problem. However some people do demonstrate a complete lack of consideration for others (see the link i posted as an example).

Now i have seen comments about at least two of the three guilds above that suggest they do not always help out in the manner people have become accustomed to. Now i understand with the point that you cannot tar all members of a guild with the same brush, however the guild recruits its players & is responsible for all members actions.

I would ask the person who "handles recruiting and crap" within LA (or any other guild that considers recruiting these players & others like them) to think about the message recruiting these players sends out to the realm about their morals & their attitude towards the players in the realm not in their guild.

Oh i se ....

If im not wrong u were the one who kicked my hero (founder of guild Chosen, the same u are GM in) caus i had a main char.

i mean if he left guild y to join guild x then whats bad about making a decision?

its not as if ur losing ur left ball is it? i mean u can live without him/her surely

No i was the one who said i had no problem with you keeping your character in the guild. However you then proceeded to tell me how you were going to cause trouble & try and to undermine the basic principles i had put in place for Chosen. It was at this point i decided to remove you from the guild.

Yes we do have a rule where we only recruit peoples main characters (we take alts if we have a persons main character in guild as well), however as you were a founder member of Chosen i was not going to kick you for it. You were removed as i did not like your attitude & threats in the conversation we had and i would not want you to speak to anyone in the same way with the "Chosen" name under your own.

Im not quite sure how your post is relelvant to mine other than the fact i did not like the attitude & behaviour of a member of the guild i am co GM of so you, the offending party was removed so as to not tarnish our good name. I suppose you could say i practice what i preach.

Umm, its just my alt (I will remove ranger from LA when I join up with hero so then it will be my main) but if you didnt know, Im a founder of LA.. ^^

I did not know you were the founder, but i did know you were a GM. When i say LA should be ashamed of themselves i was meaning the people in the guild who do not have the same attitude as yourself but do display at least common courtesy & respect to other people.

Im sure not everyone in LA agrees with things that have happened. If they do then maybe people are right to dislike your guild.

Hmm When I lead a BD grp I always try to be in front of other grps (or try to totaly stay away from any zerg).

Maybe ur just uber lagged :p

you mustn't lead very often falc, 5-6 times i have seen BD behind everyone else or speed5'ing in the other direction

BD follows other hib grps when we are off to kill a zerg and only then. so please dont talk shit about us :)

Hehe Albion's Guilds went through this teenage sibling rivalry thing too, but was long long time ago. Us Albs went all hibby and nice to each other, but ironically, it looks like Hibbies turning all alby on each other ;)

Glad no-one classes Armiger as an "elitist" guild, as we are just as rvr active as LA and VGN.
And regularly run guild only groups and regularly help out in Albion/Midgard when requested.

:)

As To BD Running away from a battle?

Doubt it. If its same peeps that I have grped with while they were Still AoP like Fear/Miril/Talivar/etc, Then reason is they do not want to lower themselves to the Zerg mindset. They would rather hunt RPs elsewhere.

As I recall on this board not long ago peeps bitching that AoP was always at AMG in Odins not in Emain? Reason? No Zergs. 1fg vs 1fg. Fun.

Now more and more peeps are in emain so they still try to avoid Zergs. So pls Noobs remember where core members of BD came from. Just because they have moved guilds do not mean that they have changed their RvR mentality.

This is not to say that I agree with everything BD does. Just 4 the record What Cul said b4 on this post is 100% accurate.
Just because I not join BD does not mean that I do not like the peeps in there. and by the same token some of them do need to remember the reasons why I joined BD and then Left to rejoin AoP. Peeps have their reasons to do things, and do not like to be called names just because by sheer coincidence others decide to leave BD and rejoin AoP at the same time.

they did run away, there were a lesser number of hibs fighting a greater number of mids, if they stayed and didnt get killed whilst running away it would have been equal numbers so:p

Well I wasn't there so wouldn't know, but if they didn't hang about there would have been good reason to it. I for one, most certinaly dont ever run unless its mindles zerging
