After a quite long break from alb/pryd and daoc (playing excal/hib atm) i've decided that i want to play here again. i've started all over so i can't pl my char, i gotta go the hard way lvling :D so i was wondering, are there any lvling grps that needs a cleric lvl 42.

2nd.
Starting here again means i need a template and therefore i need to know the rarity of good cleric bp's(and items in general)... Such as: is GoV hard to get? Rebirth hauberk? ml4.2 hauberk? and so on? are they are?

3rd... spec: i was thinking:

42 Enh, 32 rejuv and 11 smite...

because i get red acuity, and 2 insta interupts (1 a mez so gotta be careful where i use it xD) aoe interupt and such - and 32 rejuv not to waste points:p

or:

43 enh, 31 rejuv 10 smite...

because i get aoe dex shear, and still 2 interupts

which one is better? ;) cleric advices welcome

4th.

any selling full/single respec stones (this account used to be bb account so cleric is specced bb >_< need respec so... or need pl then i dont needa respec ;) )

5th.

Atti, you still got the cleric epic i gave you? xD

41r/35e or 40r/36e.

High enhance can be fun from time to time I guess but it's useless with bots, and shearing is totally useless.

Most bps are good I guess, I'd probably go with a crafted one though if I made a cleric template and use coz, rebirth boots etc.

There's a good cleric bp, 2.10 boss drops it, Snake-lord something is its name. i use that aswell (only problem that it's ugly, but dyes help a lot ;) )
GoV is ain't too good for clerics, as u receive the + magic dmg afaik

I second that, tho shearing isn't totally useless, but nerfing grp setup for high enhance cleric or having 3 clerics with one shearbot is useless or not useless, but less efficient than having 2 normal spec clerics.

Check out "Avalon City" in SI lands, you should have no problems getting a group as a 42 cleric, in addition you could (and should) start the master levels, min level of 40 so youll do fine. Loads of EXP is to be had completing ht emaster level tracks, and a cleric should easily find some people, or just look for the public raids on the forums and tag along

I know the 2.10 cleric BP is common, especialy as this is farmable with a few characters, doing a search on the boards for "Cleric Template" will reveal a few that may help https://forums.freddyshouse.com/search.php?searchid=94648 - dont forget Egg of Youth - a must for any cleric really, with AOE rezz.

As for spec, my buffing cleric is 42E 33R and left over points in smite, i wouldnt worry about smite these days, there are many other characters that can interupt, or mezz within albion, 42E gives the last int buff, great for my wizard, and 33R is pretty acceptable for healing these days

Respec stones can be got off the CM's in housing - theres typicaly 2 dragon raids each week so providing these work fine you may be able to pickup a FULL for 3plat if lucky (more commonly 4p i think)

42e/33r is a good all round spec and is far from useless.
As a guild we often run wiht a 42e/33r cleric and a 40+r cleric. Gives the group good buffs and resists, while maintaining a good level of healing, and gives the AE-int buff sheer. Overall a very effective combo, just not so hot on its own.

And to add to Tears' comments. Do your ML trails.
I last was in an exp group at level 44. Since then I've just done the ML trials, artifact encounters, quests, and scroll farming hunts etc, that I would have had to do anyway after level 50, so why let that exp go to waste? :)
Level 49.4 now.

>_< attilas still playing? well... i agree you guys got way too many casters in your grps now - cant kill good alb setups anymore :/ or hard anyway.

I play my druid atm and he's 43/31/4 nurt/reg/nat (for those who dont know nurt is buffs, reg heal and nat is is special spec line [4 gives me aoe root to interupt]) and that specs works fine and good in rvr... but i guess you got alot of casters now and you dont have to walk to sauvage everytime someone dies so you can just go qq to your bb etc - but i dont use the other heals after lvl 30 (first spread heal, better than 2nd) cept for 100% rez (i were 40 reg too at some point)..
thanks people :p

My cleric is 42 enhance 33 rejuv atm and far from useless I also find aoe buffshear`s a great way to interupt when I`m not healing

Generally run only in guild groups though where we tend to have 2 clerics and often a high rejuv cleric alongside. Also tend to not use a buffbot when we have 2 clerics either :)

Anyone think it`s worth going 44 enhance 30 rejuv btw? lose second highest single insta but gain a couple more buffshear`s

I played a druid with 48 Regrowth (same as Rejuv) and loved it. With the abundance of bots, buffs weren't really an issue most of the time.

Healer was full 50 pac. Didn't bother with healing. Fun, but, well, not really a a healy healer.

With cleric, got 40 rejuv, and speccing rest in Enhance. Yeh, its a bit standard but what the hey. That last rez is important in sustained fights and on raids. Was tempted to put rest in Smite, not Enhance, just to be different, but to be honest I only want to play it as a healing class anyway for when we lack.

I think the point of all the rambling from everyone is Huntingtons, that you can go for a variety of specs and they'll all be viable but your playstyle will alter slightly. So go for what you think will give *you* the best fun :)

42 enhance 33 rejuv will be ok just you need to get some rps for wild healing/mastery of healing and some ToA armor for the healing/buffing adds.. its very usful also if you do want to get lots of groups get the evil FoP other wise most groups wont realy want you sadliy :(

think i've decided my spec tho :p i want aoe dmg interupt in case im gonna run in melee grps too ;)

now i was thinking, is it worth having your cleric as a highlander with the low dex, or should i create a Briton (thinking of 16 dex 8 con this time, this will get me to 380 dex with aug dex4 in nf i think, gettin a cast bonus im pretty sure you get there) or should i keep my buff bot cleric with 10 dex/con/pie?

I really think that your not able to get 380 dex even with aug dex 4, With +25 dex cap I have 33x dex(briton +10 dex at start) now, then with aug dex5 (48 dex) that would get you around 380 but then you have to be RR10l10 or something to get aug dex5 as active RA's drain all your RA points and are much better than the few extra dex.
And after 300 dex you get less casting speed or something(per dex point) so its kind of useless getting aug dex5(34 points) or aug dex4(20 points).

And getting Briton or Highlander... I don't think it really matters THAT much.
Sure britons will have some more dex and highlander will have a bit higher hitpoints but in the end I don't really think it will matter much esp. not when your fully buffed and SC'ed & ToA'ed up.
