I've just acquired an AMD 3200+ Barton CPU, however struggling to find a motherboard to suit it.
I intend to give it to a friend (well, sell it) as part of a gaming rig. I have a spare Abit NF7 board lying around (revision 1) that works up to a certain point - because it's only an early board it's not capable of fully supporting the 3200's 200mhz FSB - setting it manually to that stops windows from booting.
So, since I'm having much difficulty sourcing an nForce2 motherboard, is there a way (for instance a known 3rd party bios) to make the nf7 run at 400mhz properly?
Googling around seems a fairly fruitless task so far so I thought I'd try my luck here
