Same here. I was looking at the soviet ones thinking "That would be great inspiration for a Half-Life Episode 3 map".
The Tokyo Storm Water System looks like the inspiration for whole sewer level of "Mirror's Edge".

That is very cool, enjoyed looking at those images. When in Albania last year I passed a former submarine den hewed out from under a mountain, it looked very impressive.

Not as huge as the ones you've linked, but there are a number of ancient underground places in Istanbul. The largest one is known as the Basilica Cistern, have a look: Basilica Cistern - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

watch the film The Escapist, lots of footage of the old disused underground stations and sewer systems under London.

Decent film to imo.
