A word of thanks

I'd just like to thank the Elf Ranger who was at Hadrians Wall last night (Sunday). I was up there to do my epic 43 quest, kill a Templar near the HPK, when he started laughing at me p) he then unstealthed and preceded to emote that something was behind us, low and behold about a 30 seconds later 2 middies come charging up the road, I get mezzed and the cleric I was with (also doing the epic 43 I believe, ello Larsa ) mezzed the Skald, she then stuns him and with the Elfs help kills him, while I start on the second middie, don't know which class, just had a big hammer. So 2 dead middies, we decide to carry on and try and do the part of the epic, we cross the HMG and not long after we are run over by 3 middies, and yes, again I got mezzed by the skald, and trying to solo 2 trolls and a norse isnt easy

So thanks to those 3 middies, stopped me from doing my epic, but hey, was probably a bad idea to try then as you lot were taking keeps.

And thanks again to the Elf Ranger (sorry, didn't get your name ), was funny trying to decypher your emotes, we thought you meant one of our realm mates was lying dead back the way we had come, might understand you better next time
(Always knew the Hibs were a better class of people than the Mids (j/k))

this isn't a rant or a flame, just a thank you to someone from a different realm who was nice for once.

By the way ..anyone else doing this quest (cleric, paladin) you can get the templar focus gem from the guy in barrows.

Go kill him and his girlfriends, get the gem , go to swanton keep, come back to barrows and kill him again, quest done.

And no going anywhere near hadrians wall

just be careful, that bastard can go aggro he has attacked us now at sight some times, when we have Merric with us in the group... not to good imo. Any ideas of what to kill to raise the faction with them again?

I have the same problem and Nim from OotKT helped me out with this.

To improve faction with the Templar Avenger you need to kill Pictish druids and warriors on the road to Benowyc and around Hadrians. I try to go there every time I have a quiet moment and kill them (good money too), as I would rather they hated me than Mr Avenger did.

Yeh, I knew about the Barrows, but at HW you only get one avenger and one Priestess (afaik), which is much easier to handle for 2 people than one Templar and three to four Priestesses
