Tip is a lvl 50 scout. His spec is 50 base stealth and 50 bow.
He got no slam and i think he uses no shield at all.
Me and dioz tried to convince him to change it, lots of times.
besides all our efforts every time he says that his uber sniper spec is better and he likes it.

maybe this will help him change his mind.
this happened while a hunter was trying to reveal him with TS near a fg Mids very close to mpk. Finally Dioz revealed after the Fg mids left, Hunter died... see why !!!

no DT...if u got DT u fumble and miss

i wouldnt have to block anything
he would miss all the time :)

took him quite some time to unstealth him.

no i am not using engage...just moving backwards so i can block both the hunter and his pet.

remember, if u engage u automatically unstealth :)

Well u cant really argue about that spec being the best sniper spec there is :D
Stealth past 50 DOES something but not many know how much it does(me included).
I like people who try different specs.

When i get rr5 with inf im gonna respec from 50 dw/thrust 35 stealth 21 cs 24 env to eighter 50 dw 44 slash 34 cs 22 env 34 stealth or 50 dw/thrust 34 cs 34 stealth and very low envenom.

I think it will be fun tbh :)

You dont unstealth with engage actually :p

Stealth above 50 does nothing... at least not to players.

The radius of your stealth bubble is calculated like this:

r = (enemy lvl - your stealth) * X

where X is something like 30 for assassins and 60 for archers iirc. Theres a minimum radius so Stealth higher than the lvl of the enemy does nothing.

yes u r..lemme explain

in order to engage someone u need to click him first...if u click him and press engage then your char goes in combat mode

when u r in combat mode and you not have a target u remain in stealth mode but as soon as u pick a target u unstealth instantly

engage = combat mode
engage = u must pick a target to engage
target + combat mode = unstealth

Why should he respec?.

If everyone was the same spec the game should be called Dark Age of Robots.

Because everyone is the same spec.

i repeat: /respect to Blood he is a great hunter
i just wanted to say that scout without shield is a cleric without heals.
maybe im wrong but all i can say is that my 72 shield (79 in 30k :eek: ) in combo with my 378 dex is more than needed.

i was using lancer & whirling spear and an end potion

/nerf scouts

once i unstealthed you, i didnt have any problems hitting you.... i thought you were engaging me while stealthed

He wasnt engaging cos then it would say "you concentrate on blocking the blow". :)

When Engage were mentioned in here it was refering to the Spear style "Engage" as said earlier.

hmm in that pic you're not solo.. so if you had come across a solo infil or whatever instead of 6, you're as guilty as those who killed you.. :rolleyes:

bah, tip is a nice scout who absolutly get his kills, maybe not as uber in stealthwars but still a viable spec :)
