Over the last week or more I was getting complaints about a certain individual who was going round using rcon on the duel servers. At first I had to doubt my admins of giving out the rcon password, and I was upset that I had to blame them. It turns out I was wrong to doubt them.

Now just to let the world know, if you ever see anyone called reaps^ on a bw server, slate the fuck out of him.

He was using an exploit in the zcomp mod that is now fixed to lookup the rcon password using a command that most people will not know about. He wouldnt tell me how it was done, and he was quite adament about not wanting to help me. And yes... thats right, this guy is a freezetag admin.

The problem is now sorted, this guy can't wreck your games anymore, and just for the record, it turns out I do know my servers better than you think, albiet with the help of a few individuals at bw. So you snidey little fuck, if I ever see you on the servers again, or my admins, dont think you are gonna have a pleasant game.

i kicked one duelist in the last.. i dunno how many months.. [sonic]
not listed before as an admin until lately...

this guy on duel servers, being ignorant dueler.. aliasing as not himself... using some other name to disguise himself..

so, what did i do..
me and him played, him beating me..
something large.. 10 - 1 or summin..
i said 'gg m8'
and kicked everyone and restarted the map, cos of warp points which were annoying me thruought the game
warp points come from where ppl in the previous game disconnected or something similar...
they make u shift like.. left or right in the game.. quite annoying if u'd ask me

anyhow, the map restarted and he was chopsing to me, saying i'm a cunt and he's this big admin thats gonna get bw after me..

nice huh? lol

everytime the duel servers restart, they default to q2dm7, where very often i go around each server switching the map to q2dm1.
i have wrote into the admins about this, trying to get this fixed.

everyone knows about the admin command on the zcomp servers to start with

'admin master'

blah is now a master

gives you access to mcon..

from that, u can do 'mcon cvarlist'
showing you all the list of cvars on teh server, including the rcon password...
silly huh ?

Dimebag confronted me the other day in a server, where i was just looking for a game.. and he was explaining to me that i kicked sonic and so what deserve to perm kicked from these servers..

he also offered me a place, as an admin to show him the way to get it..
but i'd know.. not only i would lose out if i told him... others would too.

us as a group of duelists, keep these servers operational and up to standard..

so i dont understand the comment 'slate fuck out of him.'
what have i done to deserve this shit ?

i kicked an annoying git who no one i know likes.. wooohooo.

it wasn't my problem for having the rcon, it was bw's for leaving their security hole right open.. dont blame me for having the initiative to find it..

and dimebag, i dont wreck peoples games..
also, insulting me for being the slightest bit intelligent.. do i see a bit of jealousy in your text ?

also, if i find that you or any of your admins.. make my games any sort of unpleasant.. then i will be ensuring that your time playing/idling on irc.. will neither be pleasant.

Reaps i know i've talked to you now and we've straightened most things out, the hostility etc,

but a lot of what you said up in that post was pure crap. I didnt once say you should be perm banned, or that I was going to get anything done. The thing that annoyed me was you were listed as an admin of the freezetag servers, and thus were meant to be able to be trusted. The fact that you knew a bug and were exploiting it was bad enough, and then you totally refused to help me because you would be "losing out" etc.

The fact of the matter is that people WERE fucking around with settings and kicking other people out when they SHOULDNT have had the code to do so. How is that hard for you to see?

Ive made a config for the new battle ground servers that the duel ones are being turned into and that has an admin level below the rcon. I am more than happy to give this out to people who will not abuse it etc. Another small thing that i remember is why did you need to kick everyone out to just change the map?

Anyway, lets just forget about this now eh and look forward to the servers becomming battle ground.
