Help A small favour for chiriddy

A member on another forum I frequent is pushing for "Diabetes Research Institute Foundation" to win this month's charity award.

In October '06 his then 7 1/2 year old daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. If anyone has been effected by this disease you know that this is a lifelong battle with no cure, yet.

Had it since i was 5, now 28, it's luckily not as much a battle as a "thing to live with".

May seem hard at first, but it's easy as pie after you grow up. Just have to survive the rebel teenage years where you don't give a rats arse about it.

Just to say I got it at 7 as well. Seems like 7 and 14 are common ages to be diagnosed. I guess its points in your life where your body changes.
