Dont turn Odins into Emain zerg version #2 !


the odd grps that go there , go there for good , fair fights , not the 5 fg vs 1 fg u get in emain ....

if u have 4 fg go emain , leave odins for the small skirmishes



aimed at all 3 realms ...although mids have a right to zerg in defence of frontier i spose

heres a new idea - try roaming around in your own realm more so people have 3 (yes thats right - 3!) destinations to pick for rvr, rather than just odin's or emain.

i believe now theres normally at least 1-2 fg albs running around lately in pennines / hw constantly retaking keeps ..well there seems to be when im there ...im often there myself but due to lack of activity from all 3 realms there , no on seems to have skirmishes .

how often do u go to hw / penns yurself ? not that much id say if i were a betting man ..and why is that ?

indeed there shud be more rvr in penns / hw , id love this as it wud save 10s every 5 mins ...

i think everyone knows that emain is the place for zergs

but thats not what i was requesting ...

over the past 1-2 weeks me and guildies and other guilds have had great time running around in 1 fg's in odins meeting EVEN numbers and generally fair and fun fights .

ive seen u in odins alot lately so surely u can understand that its nice to go there and be lag-free and have great fun :swords:

simply asking for all 3 realms to not zerg another frontier when one is being zerged ...Emain is a mass slaughter ..odin imo is PROPER RVR ..grp vs grp etc .

Odins is the only place at the moment where you can stroll around by yourself or with a couple of people and expect similer fights back.

Its quite sad the increasing numbers seeing there past few days on all sides. If not taking keeps theres no need for it, and with those sort of numbers you can't expect many rps for your troubles either.

Going to have to start walking to hadriens at this rate.

Well not being funny at all but its the Alb's in the past few days that have kicked off the zerg's in Odins big time, Odins is normally 1fg or 2fg's but of late it's been like 5fg's of Alb's most nights.

But i shouldnt complain, I dont mind sitting in a keep with an rm and sm farming rp's for me

Lots of people don't like pennines and hadrians because of the heavy aggro and lots of hills. Poor LOS, aggro, lag, and frequent LDs (in some cases anyway). Not a pleasant rvr experience

4-5FG of albs turned up in Odins last night, at the time there was 2 separate FG of middies there and a couple of people crafting in bledmeer.

Oh we zerg, but only when we have to. One comment on /as was "the alb zerg has ported over from emain"

pretty much says it all.

I'd love odins to be left to small fights, it's far more fun that way. You may want to remind your realm mates of this though as porting over in 5FG isnt really what you have in mind

problem with mids/albs is when they lose to 1fg a coupls of times they seem to get pissed off and bring at least 2fg

Exact same thing happens in hibernia, build up a zerg at ligen or crim and hit emain.. /release and repeat every 20 mins or so.

Well this week has seen more double groups of hibs entering odins, far larger groups of albs so it's only a matter of time until it's like emain

Totally agree mr tali. Perfect example couple of nights ago, turn up with a mate, kill 4 with 2 of us, they come back with 2fg.. I meen... wtf, it dont take 2fg to kill 2 peps.

Hmm, last night there was an Alb zerg in Odins, but more to take keeps fecking fools... That some Mids and Hibs showed up, nice rp, etc.. but was not main goal. We were there to take keeps, to get DF. Mid zerg quickly took back the keeps, as they came with about 5 fg to each keep. While maybe 1 fg of Albs defending it.
I believe there were several very fairs fights going on, as 2 fg of Hibs were also in Odins, roaming about between amg and hmg mostly.

Actually, I agree with that.
Hibs and Mids have for a long time been in odin's frequently with 2fg, 3fg at most, but last few times I've been they HAVE been outnumbered by the albs quite often.

There was ONE force of 4-5FG mids retaking keeps last night, if we'd had more people Albs wouldnt have gotten anything after bledmeer. Due to lack of numbers online (albs wont understand this) we didnt have enough to counter the alb zerg early on.
