Is it that hard, to not give us 5 of the same gold bags? I got 5x Devastator Flamerobes, and no helm..

Seriously? ... What the ... fuck?

I gotta do 30 keep retakes, just to be LUCKY to get a gold bag.. Then i gotta be lucky to not get the same item i already got? C'mon...

You can choose the silver or the crafting items you know :)

It doesn't always have to be the set item .

Simple quickfix solution to this - remove the cash, crafting and secondary choices from the keep bags. Replace them with other set piece choices so you can always choose a set piece. Once you have all the set pieces unlocked in your armoury, you should get removed from the keep rolls imo.

Disagree with that as people like 'spare items' from sets (like me) to use for situational combat - eg:

no melee beating on you? max damage set
melee beating on you - turte set, less damage

but how can you have different sets if the armour pieces are exactly the same? well other than different talismans i guess

Hey don't worry, in general we read most threads that are created here and especially the ones with constructive feedback about the game or the work we do. We forward feedback from FH and other Forums we stay in touch with on a daily basis.

We make an effort to let you guys know we do this by occasionally responding with a "We have forwarded this"-like message. But not responding to a thread doesn't mean we are avoiding them.

Fair enough :)

You haven't thought this one through. If you have the item unlocked this means you own it. The "spare items" from the bags are rarely better than renown gear and never better than top-quality PQ gear, so you're not losing anything.

Perhaps you havent thought it through. Item sets are stackable so 2 x annihilator, 2 conq, 2 invader = good stats. And for those that think you cant change sets in combat, simple, get out of combat (leave group and run in the opposition direction from the fight for about 100 feet... done).

But back to the OP, all looting mechanics do need changing - imho they should just give 'tokens' which you can trade in to a vendor for gear. Also remove the chest mechanic totally so you dont actually have to loot (which can be tricky with 100 order around you all with collision detection - and thats if the chest even spawns in the right place).

See post above - using 2 of each set gets you max of your primary attack stats but leaves you very very squishy. That is why I have 2 sets, one for oRvR and other for defence at range.

Actually, you've misunderstood my statement. I'm not saying lock people out of ALL BAGS. I'm saying lock them out of those that drop whatever full set they have unlocked in their armoury. I myself use 2* Anni 2* sent on one char as you're quite right - excellent stats.

For example - If i have only 3 annhilator pieces, i can still get bags from keeps that give those items. Whereas if i have a full invader/conq set (hence a fully unlocked armoury for each of those sets) i should no longer be able to get bags from the keeps that give those items.

Since each "type" drops in a different kind of keep and only in that kind of keep it shouldnt be an issue. Server checks your tome when the contribution/rolls start in a keep that gives Anni gear, sees you have a full Anni unlock and goes "no more Anni gear needed - not eligible for this bag" and removes you from the roll/contribution list.

Now do people get it? I'm not trying to deprive anyone of any set or make them choose a particular set - i'm suggesting once they have a full set of a particular item, they should be excluded from getting items in that set.

There is a big downside to what you've suggested here, salvaging. Because people can no longer salvage renown gear from the vendors, Keep gold bags are the only source of true 'purple' items to make talismans - remove people from the rolls and you remove blue talisman fragments from people that maybe able to salvage the items.

You should have the option to participate in the roll for keep bags just like for other loot with like a need/greed/pass system. The only difference being that you get your contribution added to your roll. This way people who already have the item can choose not to get it again.

I know, but that's an issue that needs to be addressed with salvaging. And they're not the only source - while boring PQ's do grant them too.

Fact is right now unless youre a BW, or an AoE healer it is tough to win anything in keep fights.
