This is what mythic has done, made a whole range of classes obsolete (I cba to list thanes and all the other casters (to a degree) , friars, reavers, valewalkers etc etc, the stats are on www.duskwave.com/daoc ) The common denominators are that none of these classes have determination and none of them are ESSENTIAL to a group (ie, giving speed5, end-regen, cc, heals, etc)
What does mythic do to remedy this? they give thanes a boost in dmg on their spells, which is a boost, but it doesnt help them a single bit to get groups, they nerf the only """""" viable """""" caster group option cept pbaoe, debuff st-nukers, and dont do shit about determination or making every class desirable.
I've cancelled my accounts and will remain inactive till mythic can manage to let every class bring something special to the table, so that no class will stand alone at mtk yelling lfg for days without getting a group.
