I would say that to tell you middle way through the hunt is unfair, but if a group of lvl50 take a 40-45 shaman just for End Buff and the odd downtime heal and they tell you that you here for that and only xp+cash then i dont see a problem.
I went on a BOI hunt with my Berserker and Shaman, can easly take wraiths down quickly with no downtime, i took a 39SB and 40+ shaman along with me as they might aswell benifit from the xp, we agreed that the BOI that dropped (which one did not) would go to me and seeing how we would be killing hundreds of things everything was fine.
I would say doing this with dimonds is a little harsh not as if they are rare but when grouping with a set of lvl50's you got to know they not in it for the xp so ask what the situation is.
