LOL, just posting this from Tera, originally posted on the Albion Forum boards a few weeks ago. Theres a certain irony here that...well...I dont know but makes me chuckle.

The birth of a new Albion
As those that know me well are aware I feel that I have reached the endgame of DaOC, killed the mobs, got the eq, mashed up the enemy, the rest just seems repetative.

So in order to prolong the life I have in the game I'm going to take on the impossible task of trying to organise Albion, <shrudders>

Well maybe organise is too strong a word, maybe better put, I'll make myself a vassel of communication. There are many people in Alb and our strength on paper is the strongest in all three realms but we lack organisation and communication. I would like to see a stop to the squables between guilds and the self impossed exile.

So what do I want from you, well I feel a good place to start would be for those that can speak for there guilds in a RvR aspect, be it guild leaders or the relavent officer to post here or contact me in game. Once a list of people has been created a time can be setup for a chat group where we can sit down and iron out the problems and create a new super alliance.

Once this is created we will be better able to communicate with each other and arrange more and better organised events. Only good can come from this idea, the effort involved is considerable but I believe it will be worth it in the long run.

Tera Ferma

Still laughing :D

Way to go Tera, nice communication skills and great Diplomacy by the sound of things. Umm well maybe not then. I guess you didnt get the job huh?

I think anyone who has RvR'd from our fair Realm of Albion knows how disjointed things can be at times. But yelling rude comments and criticism at people doesn't do much to pull things together.

And I speak from experience because I've been known to lose my rag once or twice...

Thing is, if you're in a guild with an officer structure people should listen to those officers and let them do the leading. Organisation, like charity, should begin at home.

Exactly......for Albion to have any chance of becoming organised,GMs (or High officers if no GM around) who are in the Frontier should "command" whatever people are also there.
If more than one Gm is there then it should be easier to come to an arrangement between a few GMs,than it would be with a few hundred wannabes.

With the passage of time, natural leaders will eventually emerge who everyone will recognize and be willing to follow.

.....or maybe not knowing Albion.

You don't need 'leaders' in RvR. That'll only go wrong. All you need is a bit of common sense and you'll be just fine.

Coren is totally right. Generally the Alb army will be running along spot 1 hib or mid and the whole army splits while some chase it.

Also why is this turning into a semi flame against tera ?

Whether or not you agree with her ideas at least she was trying to do something that she believed to be good for the Albion realm so cut her some slack :)
