I have a coffee mug, it was the only one I could find in the world when I broke my other 2 within a week. I had owned the first 2 mugs for about 20 years before I broke them (whacked one on a radiator as I walked past and dropped the other one). The mug I now have has some strange French cartoon figures on it and visitors look at me funny while I drink out of it, so then I have to explain why I use it.

While I waited for this cartoon mug to arrive I didn't have 1 cup of tea or coffee that tasted nice, it was only when my replacement mug arrived that my drinks were fine again.

The mugs are made by a company called Arcoroc in France and they are from the 70s.

Please if anyone has any that they wish to sell, even just 1 or if anyone can find these mugs (plain without the mongy pictures on them) please let me know

Yeah I saw those luv. They need to be the same as the one I have, plain clear glass and same shape.

I have searched the net and I search every week. When I found the cartoon mug it was pretty much the only one in the world and it came from America, my hope is someone here has some at home.

Fair play, dunno then mate. The manufacturers webby does have an English bit though, so they'd probably be able to e-mail you back if you just asked them, non?

God, the number of times I've seen those at carboots or jumble sales... I'll get my Dad to look out for you. He's the Scout's designated jumble collector. Sadly, carboot season is gone until after christmas.

Would it not be easier just to get some hypno-therapy to allow you to drink out of all kinds of mugs? :)

Hypno-therapy stopped me stalking Leggy's sister, it also stopped me from hiding in Megs bushes with a shovel, it will not make me use other mugs, this is a deep down brain problem.

Gah, I hadn't noticed. I just assumed that the guy sitting in the tree last night was you. It must have been babs then. Now that I think about it he did have a necklace of meat filled pastry.

You still purvey this lie about therapy? I have no bushes, so your attempts were foiled! HA!

Although upon closer inspection of the site, they probably only sell in large quantities. It might be worth trying if you're really desperate though.
