And heaven and nature sing

You're all not respecting other religions tbh. Instead of showing your love for some celebration, you should crawl back home in shame, knowing that you could spend the money on helping some 3rd world country nobody cares about or building up a mosque in the middle of London.

Most of those so called 3rd world countries would rather buy weapons than food, so fuck em! Most of Africa is so corrupt that the money/food never gets where its needed. People need to wise up and look at the enviromental carrying capacity of this planet. Meanwhile India celebrates having over 1 billion people!

/step off soap box ;)

Santamas will reign hell over this Carpenters sons fake holiday :flame:

Marzipan, ham, gifts, gluttony, family reunion, good times...there are not part of christmas...they WERE part of the celebration, deemed "pagan" by the silly churches, of many people. Vikings included. As it marked the time that days were starting to go longer. Festival of Light so to speak.

You want to celebrate CHRISTmas? Go sit in a barn, with a donkey and three* old drunks, eat straws and recieve some lotion as a gift, go to church as much as you can and dedicate our time for remembering your savior.

*(noone said there was three by the way, could've been more)

Want to celebrate Santamas, as it has become? Then do what you do but remember where this comes from. Especially Olgaline and other nordic people. Forshame...

So why Santamas? Well. I think the name is obvious, it's Santa mas, instead of Christ mas, since people, especially younger, don't give a flying dradle about Jesus or other church items, but they DO care about Santa. To a point of fanatic worship even.

Slightly off topic but...

"I was over in Australia during easter, which was intersting. Interesting to note they celebrate Easter the same way we do; commemorating the death and resurrection of Jesus by telling our children a giant bunny rabbit, left chocolate eggs in the night.

Now, I wonder why we’re fucked up as a race, anybody? Anybody got any clues out there?

Where do you get this shit from you know? Why those two things you know? Why not ‘Goldfish left Lincoln Logs in your sock drawer’ you know? As long as we’re making shit up, go hog wild you know. At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on it's back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous conotation to it.

'Mummy, I woke today and there was a Lincoln Log in me sock drawer!'.

'That's the story of Jesus'.

Who comes up with this shit?! I’ve read the Bible. I can’t find the words ‘bunny’ or ‘chocolate’ anywhere in that fucking book".

Marzipan is the best Christmas thing that was ever invented (to me it's an all year thing, tbh :p )

Marzipan is great, but there's almost, if not even better, thing. It's this, marzipan type almond based thing. Don't know the name for it in english.

Heh, only thing I like christmas for these days is being able to smoke a nice cigar and having no one turning their head at me in disgust. How's the smoking abstinence going btw? :)

Ah but that's a custard, no?

It's more marzipan'ish, in a tube, i dunno...maybe it's just plain marzipan...weird.

Do you mean Mandelmassa(Swedish word, I know). According to Wikipedia it's called Almond meal in English and while similar to marzipan, it's not the same thing.

If it is mandelmassa as I know it, yeah - It's alot more tasty and comes in a tube :)
