A nice little visit to the battleground...

These battlegrounds really brought life to the game, although I most certainly would not mind at all if the realm rank/realm level limits were raised... they fill up extremely quickly especially as a scout... that 5200 limit I will reach tomorrow if played since the morning till nightime.... easy... but gladly I have a friar who can still enjoy the 1st, 2nd and 2rd BGs. I can also always level my mercernary and make a 4th character to enjoy them... so I guess there is still quite a lot to play there
Today in Caledonia there was a superb keep defeding/attacking massacre going on, although the poor never did get through our defenses even though we had maybe 1/2 or 3/5 the amount of people you did (too many scouts on our side I'd say *thwack* *thwack* *thwack thwack* *thwack thwack thwack thwack* ).
Was also great fun on Thidranki with my friar... although I will soon hit the RR1L3 and must then level to 29 before I go back (I just like to be max level allowed when I go, not including getting to for example 24.99 then gonig to the first BG and killiing a mob there... thus L25 in 20-24 bg) to the BGs, to the 2nd one ofc...
Funny actually I did see a level 25 in the first BG today
Apparently did the ~24.99 thing and then killed some mob, quite funny actually... probably soon enough this will be abused (hint: GOA disable exp gain from mobs in BGs).
Oh yeah and today on Caledonia just a short while ago I'd like to congratulate the hibs on finally accomplishing something ... although on Thidranki there were quite damn large numbers of hibs...

HURRAY TO BGs and 1.48 in general!!!!!!!!!!!!

What are these 'hibs' that you speak of? I may have seen them once when a chap calling himself a 'lurikeen' ranomdly ran into the back of my group and appeared to die from our looking at him, other than that no sign of these 'hibs', are you sure these are not tales?

Sometimes I feel like that too... although after Thidranki Hib PK (they don't venture out much ) and just not long ago on Caledonia the hibs are printed in my mind...
I must say lurikeens sound hilarious when they are being hit or die, it's like a doll when you hit it... a soft and quiet "squeak.. squeak.. squeak.. "

And yes to be fair to the hibs, they are the smallest realm of the 3 and yesterday they did use there minimised numbers well, causing almost 3 deaths! Be proud of your massive achievements hibernia

Yeah we are hard to find at our PK cause we are usually attacking the keep while u camp at PK's so not surprised u didnt see us, also wounder where those 20+ RP's i got came from if we didnt kill more than 3 or 4 of you hhhmmmm.
On another note to the Alb know as Realm I really hate u Damn but ur good, You got our Castors very worried lol (Waves to Realm)

Actually I was just in BG1 there were 5 hibs there 2 mids and probably 2-3 albs.

They outnumber us majorly(at 6 AM CET)

problem is everytime I am about to solo 2-3 peeps another 3 shows up ganking the poor little spiritmaster

Funny stuff was when I saw a yellow avalonian and he just turned around and fled from me Is it true that I got a fearsome reputation in thidranki as they say to me in my dreams?

other funny stuff was when I was at hib PK 3 hibs come out of door didn't dare to charge me that was lonely there.

Btw: Realm ain't that good, Hidey(bet he is out of bg1 with all the RP he got) and halo are worse especially Halo he stealths right through our army and everyone get glimps of him but noone catches him.

PS it is not at 1L3 you are not able to go there anymore sfxman it is at 1L4 so still some RP to go for your friar.

I've been running around Murd for the past few days now having the time of my life.

Albs and us Middies have been having some excellent battles where we've had to use our heads aswell as blindly charging whenever we get bored of the slaughter .

Hibs - What are you guys doing? You've launched the occasional hit and run attack (many times without the actual 'Hit' part) and got slaughtered almost every time. It seems like the 25-29 BG is an Alb Vs Mid BattleField.

Props to Foxos and Laarn for keeping the majority of us alive and for those nicely times AE mezzes.

I've clocked up a significant amount of kills over the past few days and have a deep respect on the field for names such as Missing, Atony and their archer compatriots who have picked me off a number of times. /bow. No Hib names spring to mind however

I am going to prevent myself from lvling above 29 to stay on this field for a while longer so I shall see you there

Lother, to clarrify, I have 260 scalps, and am Rank 1 level 3. I believe I can claim 39 more safely, and then be careful of dying till I log for the night.

So each battleground's restriction is INCLUSIVE of those values.

Yes. You are correct. I have returned from releasing a few times, and was L3 the whole of yesterday. I shall probably hit L4 this very evening, at which point, it shall be the return to creature slaying for a few levels.

Went to 30-35 battleground last night with my Spiritmaster - oddly enough I actually survived a while and solo'd a few albs -best done from within a chaotic melee so they cant see whos hitting em for 200+ dam a pop

I actually did get spotted by an orange con armsman as i was zapping him but managed to get two more life drains off and pet hit im before he could get in range (was damn close tho!).

First time I died was from the guard spawn at keep because I got a bit eager and way out damaged the rest and drew aggro

Second time got mezzed by pesky minstrel and beaten down by 5 albs - lol - one could have meleed my fragile caster butt! -Note to self - stay nearer the back

Great fun but there are a coupla problems - too little cover from archers around the keep - its just one big killing ground out there for archers!!

Whoever controls the keep has a huge advantage due to:
A: field of fire
B: good cover
C: Guard Spawn etc.

Where are the hibs??? If they cant even gather a few level 30's what chance do they ever have of repelling the other 2 realms??

You can have 1/3 the amount of the attackers to defend a keep and you can keep it easily. Just need some scouts.

I got him on about 150 rps atm. Silly how overpowered that char is tbh, only thing that scares me are skalds after ive just unstealthed, that and PK guards

Dwarf casters are a pain too, they never drop.

Blasted hibs....

Everytime we pushed back the albs, your assassins came and killed of our casters, so the albs could advance, this goin on for a couple of hours in Thidranki last nite. Ohhh where did all thoose hibs disapere to, came runnin over the bridge with a few albs on my heels, saw you but i guess you didt see me as i zoomed past using my speed and sprint....

:-( And thank you Halo, and the other blasted stealther that killed me and made me unable to return, since i got my 1L3. Could you not wait until the albs had returned to their keep so i could get a rezz... I never touched a hair on you until you Halo attacked me...

I guess u hate both albs and hibs just as much now..

It is at 1L4 you can't port there anymore.
