We can't train staff or crush. Bit like having a car driving license and being given a tank. Sometimes it'll work, sometimes you'll crash it into a building and die.

It was a PA. PA's aren't weapon/weaponstyle dependant and are the only style i'm aware of the can pierce a BT bubble. I could PA you with a slashing weapon. the big "so what" is about damage variance.

With no ability to train staff or crush you a) lower your damage cap on the weapon and b) lower your minimum damage on the weapon.

As a result we can get some very amusing differences in PA damage. I PA'd someone with a 99% staff once for like... 900+ damage. "Cool" thought I, and moved on to the next victim. PA'd him for about 200. Not so cool
