Quake has produced, IMHO, some of the best gaming experiences I've ever had during the last 6 years or so. First Action Quake2, then Urban Terror (Q3).

I stopped playing UrT (back in January), and, I went off and started playing BF1942 & Vietnam - coupla' very good games TBH.

HOWEVER, recently, I downloaded the latest version of the UrT mod (3.6 - a few tweaks here and there), and, I haven't rediscovered Q3 as such, more like confirmed it's leetness. No other game I've played has the same "feel" as this game. The speed and precision of the game-play is truly phenomenal, compared to other FPP games.

Also, with Q3 (and Q2), I have an original installation on a secondary drive, which I just move when formatting....I even have a CD I burned years ago with my AQ2 folder on it just ready to copy'n'play.

But, I've never, ever, been in a clan. I know I've missed-out on a lot of good gaming, but I could never commit to playing on certain times/dates on a regular basis. I do still enjoy slapping clansmen around though (anyone from Ann here?).
