Ur wrong.

Emo has been around for a while.

It was Pop-Punk, like New Found Glory etc, but emo people took the happier sort of punka nd started talking about slashing wrists and shit

I'd hardly say Papa Roach were Emo.

But if you want to stick them in the emo Bracket, they are probably Screamo.

Once again, how can you call Papa Roach emo? Maybe the way they're 'styled' now make them seem emo, but they've not really released anything that would make them emo..

Lost Prophets are more emo than they are.

PS: I will not come in anyone in this thread! :(

I wouldnt say their emo they have just adapted to keep with the times (which is pretty lame)

Calling them emo because of lyrical content is silly as well, imagine calling Johny Cash emo because of his cover of Hurt :p

Also emo has been around since late 80s i believe :d

Either way, saying infest was released before emo music is wrong.

Fuck I always new Amon Amarth were emo!

(as for papa roach being screamo it's the closest one the twenty million different types of emo genres that i could think matches them even remotely..)
