Change you hotmail password and also the secretword that lets you change it when you have forgotten your password. More likely he got the details by grabbing your hotmail pass and login. Which unfortunetly happens to often in cyber cafes

doh!!! thats just as bad. The only place to keep passwords is your head, thats why we have a memory. You have done the equivalent of writing your PIN number on a piece of paper and putting it in your pocket with your cashcard.

There was a documentary on uk tv a few years back, a group went into an office and tried to gain access to the the staff pcs/accounts. guessing thier passwords etc, childs name/birthdays/football team/postits on pcs and draws.

Security is your own responsibility and a postit on your monitor is a major breach.

Yesterday I took a lot of abuse from people about this bullshit hacking. After talking today with April aka Vandamme, he has asked me to post proof that I had nothing to do with it. So I have done just that. Here is a screen shot of the chat which happened as my horse arrived at CS on the way to BG1. Hope that M****** F***** Taudo gets banned for causing me this much agro.

Kinda easy .. you gave ur pass,login to someone u might have trusted ..and he/she used it or gave to another who knows.

Thats one out of 2 ways...

nr 2 is someone have managed to send u a virus which track ur every touch on ur keyboard..

so when u click ur login and pass in then they can use it.

you fault is simple u gave your pass to someone else.. your computer may be secure...but what about his? he could have no firewall no virus protection.. thats the only reason i wouldnt ever give my details to anyone but my GM cos i know hes got a good setup and wouldnt risk losing them to someone else... im glad u got your stuff back.. armor is easy to replace.. but chars and time spent isnt.
