Well for those who know me, will know I spilt with my wife last year (for the best) and I'm with another girlfriend what makes me really happy.
We did'nt celebrate my birthday in April due to funds etc, so we are looking for a really good night out.
We were both mental clubbers aged 15-23ish but life and kids make you settle down :)
But we are looking for a great night out together or weekend.
So far she has her heart set on Godskitchen Global Gathering on 28-29 July in Stratford-upon-Avon...............but I'm not so sure lol.
Were both 31 and would we look like a pair of twats trying to relive there youth or just fit in?
I just can't see myself waving a glo-stick at 31, even though my girlfriend would probably lol.
So any good venues you guys know about Dance or whatever in near future?
I really wanted to go see Red Hot Chilli Peppers at Sheffield but I'm working on the dates :(
Thanks in advance Dan :)

How about a night of Bingo ?

serious ... fuck the age ... there will be other people in their 30's there, if thats the kind of thing you want to do then go do it, youll be surprised just how much of a good night it will be, but I guess if you want to play it safe just pop down the bingo hall ... grandpa :)

Whatever you decide - have a fun night, but seriously don't let a few years put you off going somewhere she has her heart set on.

Just in case you need it tho :-

lol we used to have a woman at my work that was 50 n she still went clubbing all the time. she didnt look/dress/act 'old' (didnt look 50 but didnt exactly look 20 either) so she kinda just blended in.
if u r enjoying urself an fit the scene of the place ur in (eg dont go dressed goth in a garage club or pick a place only frequented by 15yr olds etc) ya wont stand out like a sore thumb.
dont restrict ur life too much by basing what u should do entirely on age lol or u will eventually end up like one of the clone army of pensioners that all look an act the same.(ever noticed how 95% old ladies all got that daft sunflowercut hairdo an only wear either navy blue or beige clothes an spend their day sat in shopping centres watching other folks go past)
not saying u should go to a rave at 65 but 30 is too soon to jack it in n get out the pipe an slippers imo.:D

Yeah maybe I emphasised too much on the age thing, more meant my old piano house music tastes and what they will be playing at Godskitchen.
Not just ready for me pipe just yet unless it contains some herbal love :)

Turn that music down, I am trying to listen to my TV and all I can hear is that damn racket blasting while I am trying to watch Songs of Praise.

When I were a lad, we used to have proper dances, none of that nonsense you kids get upto now...
