98 on new comp

Well on my new computer it has Windows 98,
Will this be ok whilst playing all the new games ?

name some problems i can get if no.

Do i need to format and put on 2k or XP because i dont know how to format at all

I guess they'll run fine on win98... try it... if you have problems you can always get help with the reformat here because tbh it's a piece of proverbial piss as long as you make sure everything important is properly backed up and the back ups tested

Just one thing... don't be tempted to directly upgrade from 98 to XP/2k coz bad things will happen.... make sure you clean install if you do upgrade to 2k/xp.

I was using Windows 98SE fine up till last week when I finally upgraded to XP, you don't actually need the SE as most of the fixes are in the downloadable updates, AFAIK the only difference is ICS.

Agreed (ICS = Internet Connection Sharing).
