Now all the hype is over (mebbe I missed something), do any of you know 'bout this author ? ( yes I know it's their debut novel).

Basically I need something new to read (to get me out of reading Asimov,Niven & Pratchett ad infinitum)

Just started WOT, but need a book to break up the series.

I recommend any of the 2001 series if you haven't read them yet.

Fairly short but bloody good reads none the less.

I know this hasn't answered you question but i'm tired and never paid any attention to the 8th march nonsense anyway.
