Think i am gonna give up on this, people lost intrest.
The few times we've been running and died 1 or 2 times, someone decides to leave the group so we have to pug 2 idiots.
I would love to play a 8man, but if people are not very reliable then i am not taking part in it.
To be fair, I have seen many of these kind of threads for DAoC over the years. And sometimes it works well, most often it fails. Someone has to be the driving force behind it and of course if the participant pool doesn't have time to commit, it's not worth bothering. Especially since DAoC isn't as active as it was and people don't have it as the primary MMO.
Then again you have the ragequitters. Pre-formed groups doesn't automatically succeed. If you don't have the crew with the patience to learn and practice by failing, it's not worth bothering either.
Sorry for this Dvaerg, it's worth trying though. I remember we had some semi-stable groups on Ywain a year ago and it was great fun!
