Been a bit of a change recently : before the El Doc would just slap you on something like Rosavustatin, but now the drugs are getting so common you can get some over the counter (Simvastatin) which are actually more effective.
My father has been experimenting as he was feeling worse when on the statins than before (and with a skyhigh cholesterol). He's been hunting round the internet and has found a few things that will aide cholesterol problems further still : so much so, I've also started using it - Something you can get over the counter, buggered if I can remember what they're called but they look like rabbit poo and have Creatin/Q10 in them. (biosomething Q10 i think) - yes, the same stuff that stops wrinkles. Absolutely no side effects and quite good on their own - may be worth a look for those of you with slightly high levels (5.5-6.5)
