They are temporary stickies, which is the whole point of them. The moan was for long term stickies, which we don't have any of.

What would that serve? Clearly a post from someone who has no idea what they are about. Two threads are about to be unstickied, they are not linked threads.

It just gets annoying because nearly every sticky thread is useless crap which gets stickied because it's the official thread of something, usually something I don't care about. Chances are if it's sticky - it's something I can actually ignore.

I created a userscript which adds a bit of custom CSS to the page to hide sticky threads, grab it from this pastebin, save it as freddyshouse_sticky.user.js (or something similar) and open it with Chrome. Firefox users can probably use it with Greasemonkey - but they can already use custom CSS anyway.

A better alternative would be for Deebs to give us a werewolf forum.

Or another alternative is just "Watch" (subscribe) to a thread that you need to refer to quite a lot...
