5-specc vs Soul vs SZ. What is the best?

I have made the final specc now :) In the end i switch one part from my SC armor doh!

Will be at rr6:

Axe 35+16
LA 44+10
Env 31+16
CS 34+16
sth 32+16

I tested the damage caps with LA and above 50 LA does very little difference. Axe thou is another matter but i think IB and 47 debuff will compensate for the small amount of lost damage.

44/44/35/35 or something like that is teh leet.. CS is just gimped.. all you need it for is to break bt ;)

You don't need icy brilliance as sb, if they run from you, they are dead anyway. What you need is higher axe spec. Icy brilliance is nice with stun from backstab 2, but that's about it. You won't get that much use for it.

The last two posts must be the most stupid things ive heard :p (sorry leel know youre my GM and all ;) )

As for CS being gimped u must be drinking some heavy stuff :) Backstab 2, great damage and a few sec stun which gives u opportunity for SS amd IB
PA+CD same thing but bleed and more damage.

IB is not useless, slowed doesnt mean they just run slower. Its also means they hit slower(i think). No matter if thats right or not, IB is about same damage, maybe more, than DF but lower end. End is a big problem atleast for me.

the point is you dont get to use IB very much if you play it solo. maybe once a fight you get to SS SS IB someone after frosty gaze. well since you get the 47 debuff and PA+CD i guess you have everything you want anyway :p

IB is much better dmg than DF, the dmgcaps with my zerk are :
DF - 553
SS - 639
IB - 700

Dunno about the caps on my sb, i think the cap on IB is about 500 (58LA/61Axe)
It´s also true that you dont use IB THAT often, but its always good dmg and we like the big hits, don´t we ? :)

Gonna go check the caps on my sb now..

Snowsqual - IB are opener for SZ on Tanks not BSII. For a 5-Spec I think going any higher than 39LA is a waist, cuz of the low weaponskill you end up with.

This confuses me pretty much. 35+16 will give me 51 axe right? The raise in weaponskill after that is very little. So...why in hell should i go for example 39+16 ad get 55axe and still not have much higher weaponskill? My guess is that that will give me about 30-40 weaponskill and i actually think IB is worth more than that :)

And again, you use IB after PA+CD, BS2, and frosty gaze. So once each battle most probably. I see the skill worth every specc point.

I played critblade for my first 400k, my experince is that it sucks big time. On other hand, Albion had all the strength-relics, I was unbuffed...and had shiity equipment.

These days I am sz, it ok, but I miss PA a bit(especially whitout IP).

If I lay my hands on a respec stone I will become 5-specced.

Sword 39(56), Left Axe 39(56), Critical strikes 34(51), Envenom 33(50) and Stealth 32(49)...

I belive that 5-spec is the way to go.

Hm, there is a fourth way to go, the soulblade. A freak that stumbled out in Emain when people were talking about the "big" Poison nerf. I have 50(nah 53 :/) in Envenom and its still a great damage add.

5spec

without 47 debuff you wont beat infils too often

IB isn't all that good.

but having a high PA is great.

on my 5spec i can play as a SZ or a Crit depending on how i feel.

No youre not, u said it youreself!

First of all get 50 stealth(so noone can see you!) and then 50 envenom(so you become a true poison master!) and then maybe save the rest of the points if they add the skill disguise in 1.98 or something.

Mirak, I have tested out two combos.. 39/39 CS/LA, 35/35 sword/stealth 29 env.. This was kinda good, but using sword may not be the wisest thing to do.. But anyway, I have respecced to 44LA 34 CS/Axe/Stealth and 30 env. and I kinda like this spec very much. Since I didn't autotrain stealth to 44, some may say I'm a gimped sb.

But I do like the 44LA style very much, wouldn't been without it.

Double bladed axe - 16.2 / 4.2 speed
Cleaver - 16.5 / 4.0

Swords
Bastard sword - 16.2 / 4.1
Dwarf sword(1h) - 16.5 / 3.0



less damage (over time and per hit) both pre RR5, and after RR5 due to the left axe haste

To start whit i was Crit blade as most of the older sb's..

i was something like 39env 42sword 44cs some stealth... yes uber gimp i know - anyway i think that suxed cause it left you to attack less enemies than other sb's being specced differently

second i did 5spec and ended up whit something like 39/39 axe/la
35stealth 34env and 22(i think) env.. not sure of this one - far from but point being a base 5spec after that time.

then i did sz as i am now, and can only say i realy love this..
i know i have to take in mind that ive gained like 90% more rp's maybe even more since when i began but still i far like this one the most.

Have been thinking about going 5spec again but then i would loose alot of the ability to take higher rr infils as i love now :> also i like being able to be ok good in duels (rvr/own realm)
and the whole play style of it.

But then... it realy all comes down to how you like to play.

read this thought and found that the spec i mentioned i was b4 dosent fit into char builder - its how i remember them and anyhow was base cs/5spec/sz get my point :)

yep go for axe since u can find slower weapons
