Yeah, just a shame that most of their wine is toss & they inflate their margins massively before the 3 for 2 offer - 40% is only an extra 7% on the usual every day pricing. There are some good ones, but they are few and far between.

Booze is naturally overpriced but offers are used as a loss leader in supermarkets all the time, especially before Xmas. Great offers everywhere. Morrisons are doing 40 cans of Stella for £20. That's 21.8p per unit of alcohol

Tesco and Sainsbos are doing 25% off all wine when you buy 6 or more bottles. If you buy the wines that are already 50% off (from original rip-off price you'd never dream of paying ofc) then get a further 25% you end up with a class bargain.

It's the only reason I like Chrimbo
