Im currently running windows xp pro 32bit and i have 2gb of ram.

My m8 just upgraded his pc and offered me 2GB of corsair ram (exactly the same ram as i have now) for really cheap. I know windows 32 bit only sees 3.2gb of ram but will that cause a problem if i have 4gb in my comp?

No problem at all, but why don't you move to 64bit OS then, presuming your hardware is x64.
