[30-03-2006] Servers reopening
Tests and fixes are complete and you can now access the servers.
Two minor bugs that concern the clustered servers are already known on the American servers but Mythic announced that they will be fixed with version 1.83 :
- The alliance message of the day is not displayed for guilds that are not from the same server as the leader guild.
- The server name for characters is not displayed on the officers channel for alliances composed of guilds from different servers.
Small bugs also prevent the display of articles before the name of the loot, as well as the display of guild and alliance members in the social window. They will be fixed as soon as possible.
If your macros appeared altered or moved when you first connected in 1.82, we advise you to change zone or disconnect and come back in game. All should have returned to normal then.
Besides, the changes in the delays for the free levels that you might note are normal, since the bonuses granted to the under-populated realms have been updated with version 1.82. The detailed tables will be displayed in tomorrow's Camelot Reporter but the changes concern Hibernia on Excalibur and Prydwen (3 days for a free level instead of 2), Albion on Glastonbury (4 days for a free level instead of 2), Midgard on Logres (6 days for a free level instead of 5), Midgard on Ys (2 days for a free level instead of 3) and Midgard and Hibernia on Deira (5 days for a free level instead of 4 and 4 days instead of 3).
No other bug was spotted but if you encounter an anomaly, do not hesitate to write to the FAQ or contact a Community Manager as soon as possible.
As usual, the new features will not appear in customised interfaces - mainly the to put /use functions of an object in your quickbar by right-clicking on it - and we thus recommend that you come back to a default interface until your personalised interface has been updated by the person who created it. Finally, the game has been updated, and so some firewalls might require modification in order to enable the game to access the servers.
We thank again the players who helped us thanks to their reports during this incident. You can now go over the top to 1.82 !
