3 savage 3 healer assist groups

ok guys serious discussion how the hell do we combat this?

we don`t seem to have the ability to stop them even in high rr well balanced alb groups

suggestions?

-Get some thrust tanks.

-Without healers savages go down fast due to shouts taking their hps since most of them use shitloads in a battle.....try target their mend healer first NOT shaman as they have end regen anyway themselves...mend healer heals best so.

-Get a good main assist and assist them with damage dealers, pala guards cleric/sorc.

-Sorc mezzes and aoe str/con debuffs.

-Make sure some tanks have high determination(preferably 4)

-Prevent flight tanks can win the battle too.

Adding this in....

Savage

- A bug in Savage's chances to triple or quad has been fixed. Savages should now triple more frequently than before, and quad less frequently than before. Note that Savage Damage Per Second remains the same.

<cries> we need more lil sychos runnin around to pwn them all.

I got quaded 3 times in a row earlier and died with 2300hp xD

going to try experimenting with necro for armour debuff instead of the 2nd merc prob but then dunno if we`d have damage output

It's not actually as easy to run those gank squads as you might think. Looking at it from the Midgard end (me traitor!! ;) ) if your tanks have high determination and max body resists the stun's don't last long.

Of course that doesn't stop the Alb support going down in microseconds....

we tried that the necro was getting very fristrated with the interupts takes 3 times as long to recast than normal caster, and af debuff is nice but rather another merc

seriously tho, savage/healer mid groups are frikkin hard too beat.


old.mattshanes got some good points, but i dont agree with shammy....a good shammy will decease your whole group, that is of annoying(ie; gank him ;d)

They would with disease and dots yes but most savages are buffbotted so.... although with high determination tanks healers would be more important to kill than shaman first.Especially their mend healer, PR can be a problem too which means 6 healers if all have it up it can be but if you take them down first it's not:)

By the time you taken shaman out then switch to a healer it could be PR anyway so it's really hard to say what's first to kill, i would say mend healer though still.

Dont think there is a guild in Mid with blue cloaks and star that have the amount of people to make a zerg but guess you know better.

Mezz means shit vs 3-4 savages with high determination anyway and you need REAL heavy damage output.So it will not quite cut it in that group damage wise :/

Although some sorc's lately are str/con debuffing savages and their damage does go down o_O

Also by the way i ran this set up this week and never died once.... both armsman had soldier's barricade too xD

ah well seriously, your tank groups rocks aswell in Alb, christ, got 4-5 tanks on me all of a sudden and dead in 2 sec or so :p
but then again im only human (Thane) ;)

Make good group...

Assist well...

Kill all healers and shaman meanwhile you own support runs around...

Kill savages...

Cure disease...

Run to a save spot and rest...

One of the downsides to the savage is that they dont get PF. Which is realy annoying with Albs using assist.. so many in there that got PF (impossible to get away as support)

This is ofc a nerf, it says it is not, but most of us have played teh game long enough to know when they are just giving us bullshit.

Hence ofc the savage will less dmg per sec due to less 4xhits and more 3xhit

(not saying it is wrong to nerf savages)

Ye, but the mezz will help negate their support from healers'n'shamsters, just important for sorc to stay out of stun range and have paladin guard while colliding with mid group at mach 6. :)

hmm i guess whit all those af buffs albs have + bof, hard alb group to kill, ad there sos.

+3 relics, albs should beat them savage groups with melee group imo.
