2nd PC mouse problems.

So I bought a cheap ass optical mouse for my 2nd pc which I use for boxing purposes in games, sometimes when gaming the mouse spins randomly out of control (like when i'm moving the camera say in an fps game or such it just randomly starts to spin) anyone got any ideas? i've heard it happens with quite a few optical mice.

Mmm, had this when I first moved to an optical years and years ago when playing HL deathmatch.

I think I toned down the sensitivity a tad, switched of mouse acceleration (doubt you have it on anyway as a gamer) and basically adjusted slightly the way I play.

Bit hazy over the whole thing now - but it might also be because when you moving it v fast while excited you very slightly lift the mouse off the surface.

Was no eureka moment that i'd fixed it as i recall - just those bits and pieces above and it went away after a week or so.

Oh the obvious answer as well - try the mouse from your other PC - if its ok, buy one of them for your second PC
